Averaging is a reasonable solution. But I can not understand, it is important for you to buy ETH? It may be worth it to explore other altcoins! Diversification of crypto portfolio will be the best solution.

OK so I bought ETH a while back when it was 600 dollars.

Now that ETH is 275 is it a good move to sell my ETH and buy back in? Wouldnt profit be faster when market picks up like that or not?

Please help me understand

The best chances are when you get in on the ground floor! ETH is too risky. Come help us rebuild Gamecoin and you can make some serious ROI!

I don't think the sell move is a smart one, i would advice that you continue to hold for a long term or buy more ETH at the price of $275 price and sell all when the price improves reasonably.
I agree with you to upgrade your buy if there is a decrease again then upgrade the buy again

Well I think mate it is not a good idea. Just hold your ETH until price will pump as high 600 dollars. It is not a good move to sell, you can't get you capital because you will sale in a loweak price. Be patient in waiting for the pump of ETH.

Personally I see everyone making long calls right now, but with volume low and the value of BTC hanging at 65xx I think this is the distribution phase that usually comes before the dump. See wykhoff method https://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:market_analysis:the_wyckoff_method It's a tough move to make for sure, but coming from someone who bought XRP all the way up to $2.05 Swing trading your way from crypto to fiat creates more crypto. I'd do it. We're going down shortly.

For me, even you have bought the ETH in 600USD before, but I trust or sure the price will rise in the future, this is not the first time the price drops below the 250USD, it has the many time the price growth after few months, and I want to say I have bought the BCN form @300 Sataoshi per one, and current price only @24 per one, I don't think it will rise more than @300 in the future, you are lucky one.

No, I think this is a bad choice when ETH is preparing to recover. If you cut loss at now, your money is lost almost three times and if it continue to decrease, you almost lost everything

Should I hold what I have and wait till it its over 600 so?
I don't think you have to sell 600$ ETH, but you can now choose to pay a little more for the $200-300 ETH, which may be best for you. When you have to face a choice later, you may be able to make a little more choice.

If you sell your coins now, it is not a smart move as you tend to lose a lot of funds in the market. I would advice you to buy more etherum in order to average the price and have a better lower entry price. Keep buying the dip as it goes down and this depends on the cryptocurrency. You need to do this with cryptocurrency with good use case and fundamentals

You have bought your ethereum when they were $600 and does it make sense to you to sell your ethereum below $600 rate? It's a stupid thing. Never try to do that I suggest you just try to keep your coin and then waiting for the next waves will come in the future. It would not give you fast profit just in short time and I suggest you to think for a twice.

I do not understand what you mean, you buy ethereum with 600 $ dollars and you want to sell it at a price of 275 $ then you will lose I do not think that if I am you I will hold it or I increase the amount of my investment so I when the price has started This is a low chance to buy the ethreum. I think the ethreum will rise again, because there are no great competitors for the ethreum

You are not cutting losses in that way, you are giving away your money.
You should buy more ETH at this low for you to balance the lose.
If you bought at 600 for 1 eth you should and buy again 1 eth at 300, then your 2 eth will ahve a value bought at 450 in that way...
buy another ETH for 300 then your eth value at first will be at 375... that is how you gonna cute losses.

The market will soon begin to recover and you should wait for it because you do not lose your money. Ether is a promising coin and after the beginning of growth, will win back its positions.

That is too much loss.
Better make a new capital. Buy ETH now and that might help cut some loss or it could be better when it goes back to 600 usd.

There is not much you can do about it since I dont see it coming to a bear again. There is a larger percentage for a bull run now. Use that to fill those loss.

You should not worry, the market will soon recover, if you sell at a low price then you will lose everything, keep the hope and wait, all is just starting.
