For now we can't consider bitcoin yet to be in the same level of fiat or i think it would never happens. But comeon bitcoin allows you to transfer fiat to your love ones in somewhere else in the world with no fees.

the problem with cryptocurrencies is the adoption of them, which has not yet fully happened. so it doesn't matter if you have the ability to use them anywhere when there is no place to spend your coins directly when you can do it with USD.
but i hope in the future this changes and we can see more places start accepting bitcoin.

I don't know if this thread has been created before, but I would like to know your opinion on Cryptocurrency versus Fiat.

In cryptocurrency,you can access it anywhere you go and you can send payment to someone even if it is a large amount and no one will ask for any supporting documents from you to explain why that big amount and for what purpose and the transaction is quite fast like it would take minutes for the amount to be sent while in fiat, when you try to send someone a significant amount you need supporting documents and identification to push through with the transaction and it may take days or weeks just to send the amount.
You can send someone money with a lesser transaction fee compared to using fiat when you have to send it through money exchange which has bigger charges and may take a chunk of the amount you intend to send.
I think the disdvantage of cryptocurrency against fiat is that cryptocurrency cannot be use in buying items like the daily needs in a supermarket or in any other shops that did not adopt cryptocurrency yet as payment option because fiat is still the one widely used by people.

for me and i don't think in my country men are where the same techniques i only use cryptocurrency to gamble or to make trade into another coin where i can grow my bitcoins by exchange them or to sell them i also use bitcoin/cyrpto to invest in some website where i can trust my bitcoin with and then if my bitcoin grow i hold it until i need it to buy fiat where it can help me on my daily living or i buy items that more useful to me example foods new clothes etc.
That is the usual thing to do in bitcoin or crypto currency investing, trading and gamble but in the end it will be exchange it to fiat and that OP's title i think that is wrong to have versus i think it would be advantages of crypto currency to fiat or vise versa.

Crypto currencies have small market if we compare to FIAT market. Shops and Banks use only FIAT. Crypto is like very small dedicated market to computer users. With time, may be banks will start to implement crypto currencies too 
yeah when compared with the market fiat course crypto market will be smaller. you can compare how big a market for the exchange rate for each local currency in the whole country? I think crypto is still very small. we can not compare it with fiat dude 
Until this time, I feeling surprised because is always there a people is still discussing this problem. basically is not realistic they live in different world and different mastery they will get but in my minds, it's like a miracle for the one wanna to dominate the another. 
If you sending fiat between country let say from Singapore to Netherland, you need quite high fee to paid.

Using Bitcoin for remitance has a lot of potential. One of the downsides when converting to and from Bitcoin at exchanges is the complicated process of verification. I personally dont believe my ID scan wont leak if their databases get hacked, thats why I dont use the exchanges. I use localbitcoins instead, but the disadvantage is its more expensive.
Recently i mainly using fiat because there is in my accept fiat in shop and other restaurant and if crypto currency like bitcoin replace to fiat then i will be use crypto currency than fiat and i am sure we will be use crypto currency for direct shopping in the near future.

i think if we introduce it to our friends relative neighbor and other people, they will take interest in t and will start using it, the shopkeepers will also understand the importance of bitcoin and they will start accepting bitcoin in their ships, but we need a little hared work for convincing the people. 
Personally i prefer using cypto and especially Bitcoin, instead of using fiat. Bitcoin and crypto currencies have a lot of powerful features making it a lot better than the other currencies.
May I know how you are dealing with the physical transactions there in your location if you preferred mostly on bitcoin?

I do believe that Crypto currencies will eventually take over the fiats later on down the road. It is evident that this will occur one way or another with some many people's preference being towards using it to transfer funds among different people. It is safe and secure and does not cost as much to do this. That is major factor that is driving it forward.

I use both, but i prefer crypto and Bitcoin especially, but unluckily the Bitcoin isn't yet supported as payment method by many great marketplaces.
Use them both, prefer Bitcoin although cannot use it everywhere without converting it to Fiat. More BTC adoption the better!

Crypto currency and fiat money are both considered as money, so their feature is almost the same. The only difference is one is tangible and the other one is in digital form. Fiat money requires high fee if you need to move them from one country to another country while Crypto just need a wallet on the other end to receive it.
