Hi

Sorry for any confusion caused.  Grin

Thanks for your comments. Cheesy Cheesy

1. Politics & Society and Beginners & Help partially excluded included. (Means the same, but a better presentation. Wink)
Only strictly constructive posts in both sections will be counted. If it has already been answered and does not contribute anything significant, the post will be ignored.

2. Off-topic excluded.

3. Meta boards included.

4. Local boards included. (Constructive, non off-topic, only as usual. counting of such posts capped at 15% of total posts in the week)

5. Constructive posts in Altcoin boards included.

Grading will be based fully on constructiveness.

Post counting will be stricter.

Grades with C- or less will run the risk of getting removed from the campaign next week.

What do you think? Smiley

I evaluate joining your sig ad campaign; however, i'm confused about the exact meaning of your local board rule since you've rules saying that permissible posts must be in English and posts in local board are allowed. I re-read your rules a few times but what I understand is that because of your English requirement the only local boards where our posts could be counted are India & Other languages/locations (English-speaking countries threads only) boards only. Could clarify about?
Also, could you keep the OP updated to reflect the changed terms? Sifting the Whole thread to find the actual applicable rules is really too burdensome!
Thank you.

Regarding avatars: you just have to wear it or you have to state it somewhere? do you get the bonus from further posts made wearing the avatar, or if for example I put the avatar on now, i'll get the bonus of my previous yet to be paid posts?
also, at what hour does the pay occur? if I understood correctly next one is on 22th.

You will have to PM me or post here. Otherwise, it will be very easy to skip someone.

Enrollment to avatar is closed right now, and we will open on Wednesday when it launches officially. So, such a question will not arise. Wink

Yeah. Smiley

4. Local boards included. (Constructive, non off-topic, only as usual. counting of such posts capped at 15% of total posts in the week)

How can you determine a post in local boards being constructive ? People can write giant wall of text there without you to know what does the post about isnt it?

Well, we would have a general idea about the person who is making the posts. Plus, we will also check threads, etc. (even use Google translate) to get a good idea about the poster/post.

Yeah, it is pretty difficult, but it should be okay. Smiley

I think that's the main reason why it is capped so low. It can't be abused much anyways so it doesn't really matter.
He could use google translate to help him out a bit as well.

Thanks for being open to suggestions.
I think it's ok now. If you think someone is abusing the campaign and spamming in certain areas just remove him or cut his payment, or give him a low quality warning, but there shouldn't be board restrictions. It would be better to add requirements like "you have to write at least a couple posts a month in this or that section because we want to advertise there" instead of telling people they can't post somewhere because some other people were seen spamming in the same section.

Actually, that one will encourage more spam than allowing a small bonus to those who make posts in the Gambling boards.

Dunno why everyone is opposing the latter..  Undecided

I may write code in exchange for bitcoins.
I have a question:

I just checked the spreadsheet and it looks like the rates per post seem to be more varying than before.  Mine is just what I signed up for so I've got no complaints, but I notice that many of the people's rates are bolded and different.  Is this related to bonuses?  Just curious.

I think the accounts that are marked with an orange square means they are using one of the avatars (big 10% bonus, small 5% bonus).

Yes. It is to mark those who are wearing avatars. Smiley

You have valid negative trust. What happened?

Oh, I didn't realize it until you just pointed it out.  It looks like Quickseller's trollfest on me is still continuing.  He's been trolling me with his alt ACCTSeller for the last 24 hours.  He managed to dig up a thread from 3 years ago where tradefortress (known scammer, possibly one of the largest scammers in bitcoin history) accuses me of defrauding him (I never did, discussed at length about 3 years ago).  Of course, tradefortress has been removed from default trust but it seems that Quickseller's now trying to bring back his ghost by echoing tradeforetress's lies about me.

EDIT: Quickseller probably isn't going to be on default trust for very much longer if he keeps this up (regurgitating opinions of tradefortress for personal vendetta) I'm pretty sure that most reasonably people have already added ~Quickseller to their trust lists (just check out Meta).  I guess I can take this up with Theymos and the mods if it's going to cause an issue for my work with you guys here.

Announcement:
Beginners & Help and Politics & Society boards will be excluded from next week on-wards.

You may however post there as usual. They won't be counted tho.

Why don't you just deal with spam/spammers on a case-by-case basis instead? All this does is make the spammers post elsewhere where their posts are counted so next week you'll probably be banning Meta & Bitcoin discussion. People who make decent posts shouldn't be penalised so rather than discounting all posts in certain sections remove the people who make poor quality contributions instead.
It is valid point actually. It is not the way to deal with the spam. I'm worried that in couple of weeks there will be only Gambling section left to post in. I think the best way to cut the spam amount will be capping max limit post at lower level I think 50 post per week would be good, maybe even less. Not just for this campaign but for every campaign on the forum, that way people won't be tempted to post more just for money.

Less than 50 is overkill and might backfire, since people may start leaving. IMO just treat posts individually. If someone wants to spam with 100 shitty 3 word posts daily they are going to do it in any subforum.

Ahhh I'm going to have to leave this campaign as most of my posts are in Beginners & Politics and I don't wont to risk spamming other boards that I rarely post on.

Thanks for all the payments though, one of the best campaigns I've signed up to.
