As of now, i dont used my bitcoins in any things since i dont have any amount of bitcoins. But if ever im given the chance to hold big/small amount of bitcoin, well im going to keep it and wait till it become bigger and that's the time i would use it, like in buying important things, foods, buying loads.

Still impossible in physical stores buddy. I see that online stores are accepting bitcoins rarely. In recent days we can see that price is also stabilized on 900$ and more. Hope its value will increase more and we gonna see huge adoption in future years. Then we can definetly use btc in daily life.

yes exactly, if the price would really increase and become stable (hope so), for sure it will give us a bigger impact especially if we used this as our daily life, then if would really happen then no doubt, the country would really adopt bitcoin.

I don't think there is a need to wait for the confirmation, if a fee recommended or little above is paid you'll get faster confirmations. Other than this once after sending the receiver end gets the transacted amount under the unconfirmed transaction list. This itself helps the receiver a hope of receiving the payment.

How fast is the fastest confirmation of payments? And how much to pay for quick approval?

The confirmation of your payments depends on the blockchain. If there are too many transactions pending on the blockchain and are still waiting to be confirm, then it might take some time, let's say 20-30 minutes, because the process that's blockchain is First In First Out, so if you are in the last page of the transaction list in the blockchain, then I guess all you have to do is to wait. But once you have sent it, there's no need for you to wait at the starbucks, the payment would be surely sent to them, because it is already in the blockchain.

Hi friends,

As far as I know, bitcoin payments take a little time to approve. Will these approval times make it difficult to use bitcoin in our daily lives?
For example, I would get a coffee from Starbucks. Do I have to wait for approval to pay for what I have done for hours?
Yes the confirmation time for transaction is more and it is a drawback for daily usage of bitcoin. The only solution to this is to increase the block size so that more transactions take place per second. i have used bitcoins to recharge my mobile.Bitcoin will get more famous only when it is used for day to day needs.

The daily use of bitcoins to me is to buy online game items and other items in the internet using bitcoins and to buy cellphone load for my mobile and cashing it out to pay bills and for my tuition fee in the univesity and for food ofcourse.

This means you are using bitcoins for everything. This is really good to know. In my country i can only reload my mobile with bitcoins and buy few things on selected stores. I normally convert my earned bitcoins through local bitcoins and then spend the money. Thats more feasible for me.
I think you are both same features like here in my country that you can loadup withdrawn instantly shop online and you can pay for bills and i think what he talking about for buying foods and for his tuition i think he exchange bitcoin first before he use it locally..
I hope that our country will be the same as brazil that has 100 or more stores are accepting bitcoin as payment..

Other countries will take a long time to follow the foot prints of Brazil as there are many countries who have not even heard about the bitcoins so we cannot expect that it will done overnight and as of now if I have to spend bitcoins then I need to convert them to my local currency first and then spend as there are no physical shops that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment.
in fact in most of the area, bitcoin shops are not available, and may the lack of users  is the main reason, but i think still we have the opportunity to convert the bitcoin that we have earned from trading or somewhere else. and can use. and i still hope that very soon we will also be able to use bitcoin in our local shops but still it will take a little more time.

for the moment, I do not use bitcoin every day. Well, I limit the use of bitcoin maybe 4 times per week. I do so I do not use bitcoin I have with quickly, because lately, I use bitcoin quickly, so it is very easy to run out. so, I limit their use.
it is one risk. we could easily spend money that we have. with bitcoin transactions can be done anywhere and anytime we are. we should really take advantage of bitcoin.

I din't find any risk, by using it daily. The best thing i am doing is i have activated 2fa to block chain. So that no body will access to my bitcoin transaction, in this i am secured with all the bitcoin transactions.
That is right, we have to be sure about our bitcoin wallet, we should claim that one of this days we will all gonna use our bitcoin.
Can you imagine guys that we have bitcoin atm and we just swipe it anywhere just like credit card. Life would really easy the moment that all merchant accepts bitcoin even taxi etc.

That is faster and easier actually. With using it through online game items you would have to look for the website that are accepting bitcoin. unlike with cash it will be faster to look for one or you would just need to deposit fiat in one of their bank accounts or though Paypal which is more used until now. Well that will change, maybe not instant but slowly bitcoin will take over.

Well it is very feasible to use bitcoins daily , when it come to confirmation time I think It is not that big deal  for example here in the philippines there is a service called coins.ph bitcoins transaction needed only to be confirmed once and after that everithing will be instant like buying a load , converting your cash to fiat and many more ! I think It is just base how deep bitcoin develors think for us to incorporate bitcoin in our daily lives
[quote/]

Actually the bitcoin transactions is fast but getting confirmation to avoid double spend that's need long time. Commonly it should got 3 confirmation to complete the transactions. I think if on your place only need once confirmation it is good dude. Quite sure developers will always develop bitcoin to keep bitcoin stay exists.

Bitcoin makes transaction. easier so maybe we can. use it in our daily needs.
He is talking about slow confirmation which becomes a huge problem when we do real life on the spot small transaction like buying coffee or doing small groceries.
To be honest currently buying groceries or paying for gas bill with bitcoin is going to be hard so currently might not be considered. However there are other alt coins which does fast confirmation. Maybe they might accept those as payment through crypto coins?

I don't think they will be quite happy with this proposal

Some coins have confirmation times as small as 30 seconds, but what's the use of them if they are worth basically nothing. And I don't mean just their market price, they don't have even 1/10 of Bitcoin acceptance, and their volatility is beyond comparison even with Bitcoin volatility at that. And the latter is considered one of the main obstacles or barriers on the path to wider acceptance of Bitcoin by the merchants. They obviously won't agree to sell their goods for nothing (or which could turn into trash in less than no time)

That is cool. It can bebm used as a business if they can do it really fast. Because bitcoin transactions now are really getting slower and slower and add up the extreme transaction fees like what Xapo did when you do low transaction. It is like they want you to be stucked in their wallet

The transaction using bitcoin in daily expenses should be easier as there are many merchants accepted bitcoin and increase over time.
Bitcoiners understand about confirmation time that require in every spending, moreover there are a lot of wallet platforms which has different fees/incentive for miners. I have never encountered such problem as I using blockchain wallet. Maybe third party will provide services between seller and buyer for now, but we need faster confirmation if we expect more people interested to bitcoin.

There certainly are many merchant that accept bitcoin maybe in your country but not all places are the same, just like in our country that is pretty hard to accept and understand just the word bitcoin makes them want to scratch their heads  well I think that transaction on bitcoin was not highly know by some people, although we can say that bitcoin are popular in some but not all can just grab on to it, you will need knowledge in earning and getting on with the rest of the community.

In our country too only few accepts bitcoin as payment and note some of it is in online and not on physical store. well i dont think that there are stores accepts bitcoin as payment in my country because when we talk about bitcoin others dont understand bitcoin is not really known here
