After almost one month of testing I found best dark theme option (for me)
It is not perfect, but almost everything works perfectly including titles, shades, smileys and favicons.

This option is:
Enabled with selective inversion of non-image elements

Settings can be found here:
Code:
chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark

@YOSHIE
I don't like that. Reminds me of the beginning of the Internet era and the 90s. Matrix maybe. Not that pleasant on the eye.
Ha, ha, ha, I think so too, I don't use that, just for fun just seeing a little dark color and to the green.

If I use that, I have to buy a magnifying glass when writing posts, do not have the time in this matter.

It doesn't matter we go back to the era of the 90s, to remember the good old days.
Don't be too focused, maybe other people have beautiful views, I don't know, maybe..

Omg, finally a script-less solution! Thanks!

The issue so far is the "Post" and "Preview" buttons which have invisible/ white texts.

That is weird. Take a look at the picture just above your post by Insanerman. Looks OK on Android devices. The quote buttons are dark. Is that a screenshot from your PC?

I was about to post a question about this. I tried your solution. It did work though most of the other elements of the page remain the same and this contrast make them look even more brighter. Might need to install a filter for Win 7.

Buttons also became unreadable though I don't think it's a huge problem since we're all familiar with the interface. So far I haven't noticed any change in performance. I still think it'll be much better if the forum have it's own night mode though. I mean, even Pornhub have it.  Grin

Hey, ITS WORKING! in Android, but the smileys and the message icon dropdown has a bright colors which is annoying in the eyes Angry

This my same opinion. Still nice idea,  but better for dark room view, if all items were not this bright. Perhaps still improvement for darkroom than basic. I will test. Good find.

All of the dark theme "hacky" solutions that I've seen so far are visually terrible or damaging. We should just pool money and get someone to do it properly.

I also found a dark theme, which was a bit colorful.
Simple, just use the {Dark it Browser} Application via play store, we can enter the Link: https://bitcointalk.org/

The result is like this.

Seems to me quite interesting, I don't know if there are members who use things like this, maybe.

But, I have not been able to save it like the other crome, when visiting it must attach a link.
But just enter the account name once.

There are already many threads that discuss the (dark) theme, why don't you post on one of the existing threads?

Because I wanted to create my own Topic, and I don't see any issue with it.

This is NOT a theme.
This is NOT extension.
This is NOT external script.
This is NOT a plugin.

It is built in feature for brave/chrome browsers

You can find more additional scripts in my topic: List of Bitcointalk.org Userscripts/ Add-ons.

Thanks, I know about this
BUT this is not external script Wink

It is good as a whole but is inconsistent with the look of the forum, this happens when I run that plugin.

Play around with options.
I currently use 'Enabled with simple RGB based inversion' and I am testing 'Enabled with inversion of non-image elements'

Almost all bottoms do not appear or appear white without being able to read words.

The Android version looks pretty and does not need any additional settings, I will try it. Kiss Kiss

If you are using Brave or any other chrome based browser you can do one small trick to enable dark theme
without installing any script or extension.

How to do it?
- Simply enter this in your browser address bar and Enable Force Dark Mode for Web Contents:

chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark

There is several options to choose and experiment with, and you can always return to Default option.

NOTE:
Dark theme will work on every website.
