hi, is this still available ? lol i know im late but was asking.

Try this one:

Dark Reader browser extension could be another option.

I just tried it and it's working perfectly. Below is a snap of the Meta section that I took just now:

You can even adjust brightness, contrast, and many other settings from the extension settings. It also has a light mode that makes the colors a bit dim than usual which means that if you don't turn the extension off and switch from dark to light, you will see dark mode going off but the colors will still be less brightened, easier for the eyes.

I like it more with the following settings:

Brightness: +50
Contrast: -50
Sepia: off
Grayscale: off
I tried it too but I couldn't get used to it.
After that I changed it back to its original state, unfortunately being white tires my eyes a lot, but the black state was not very natural either, of course this is a matter of preference.
Many users may have been satisfied, but for me it was better to use the original state.
The black theme turns many areas dark, but I guess the fact that there were still some whites distracted me. Smiley

If you're looking for other alternatives to use dark theme in the forum, try BPIP extension. The Op of this thread has been inactive for several years now so this code is probably not getting any updates.

Stylish add-on for Chrome is just great, super easy to use.

Inside is already so many themes that there is no need to let them know all the URL's one is browsing in the main setting of the addon after the first download.

Don't do it uncheck the box when installed and started for the first time!!! Don't lose your privacy if there is no need to.

I tried both settings and there is almost or indeed no difference at all. This is only a catch to give away your privacy for them to monetize on the addon even more.

Themes are this same and there are plenty of them, I even think that less of them is better for the faster choice. If there are too many themes I keep scrolling for too long and can't get my pick.

I thought it will be worth to add.

If you're android user you can try to enable dark mode in Google Chrome, here is a screenshot of Meta board, looking not ideal, but still decent.

Tried enabling it but it only makes the top bar/menu dark (not the website I'm visiting). I'll try rebooting my phone.

This is an awsome idea for a new daily experience in bitcointalk, despite i didn't really like the style as it still needs some modifications in my opinion.
The most important notes for me are: the menu bar is still in the original style which is not very nice with a full dark theme, and pixels has been also changed.
Note that i just try it with chrome for windows, am attending to a the mobile version.

Well, this is good especially when all were asleep or you still awake and does wishes to visit the forum in low light version. I hope that I can try on that someday. I always sleep late at night and there are times that I will visit this forum and enjoy reading cryptocurrency discussions or market price movement for bitcoin.

This extension inverts brightness of web pages and aims to reduce eyestrain while browsing the web. Visit Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons for more info.

You can disable it by default for all websites and then activate it wherever you want.

Thanks for this dark style. I was actually searching Google and then I realized why not search BTT and then viola. My screen is now dark which is better to my eyes as it is less straining and stressful. Again, thanks for this option. Long live!
