unfortunately etherdelta is the only market exchange that has a lot of coin in it.
hopefully they fix all of our complaints.
hope all can be resolved by developer etherdelta.

I agree with you if ED have a lot of coins to trade and usually many company put first their new token in ED after ICO finished before in other exchanger, that's the benefit of ED.

I've lost a lot of ETH in gas on EtherDelta (around $12 per try) due to "Bad Jump" errors. It's like it will just consume whatever Eth is available on the account until it fails. ED was recently sold to new owners, and since then the exchange has more or less become unusable. I'd recommend Idex as a replacement.

I don't like using etherdelta the fees are really high. I don't like that they generate your privatekey for you like mew would.
I have to refresh the browser twice before it loaded the orderbook. Very strange. I only use them if I have to because there is not another place to trade said token. I send my tokens to my wallet as soon as I am done trading there.

etherdelta has been too slow after the hacking incident. This is especially true for loading the volume and the order book. The order book takes forever and at least a couple of tries to load. This has been happening ever since they were hacked. Ever since they have a new CEO, they introduced new fees (take out on our tokens) and the site is way slower, and they were hacked. Time to fire the new guy and rehire the old guy Smiley

Hey I also experienced that after the hack etherdelta is a lot slower. I will suggest you to start using idex, it is also decentralised just like etherdelta but it works a lot smother!

Bumping this thread because I noticed to today that Etherdelta was loading very quickly.  Fastest I've ever seen.  There is about a 5 second delay for the DDoS support, then about 5 seconds to load.  Used to take 30-60 seconds.

Yeah I've seen a huge improvement too recently, been pretty much consistent over this last week or so also

I am using it as well without any problems. Works fast enough and all transaction go trough quickly while using moderate GAS (1-4 Gwei) It is working as good as before cryptokitties Smiley It seems that all Etherdelta problems (hacking of DNS server excluded) were a result of congested ETH network.

The order book and the volume were the slowest to load, but this time, interesting enough, they loaded fast enough.

Well i do think that they are just trying to give a little more security to the site in order for us to be calm and safe whenever we are trying to do a transaction in there. I hope that etherdelta is making its precautionary measures to assure us that it will never happen again.

I can't use etherdelta anymore as i can't even deposit my token as it always shows error messages and my transaction isn't through despite already changing the gas fee and have more enough eth to pay the gas, instead i use fork delta right now and it's very smooth, just don't forget to change the default gas fee because it is very expensive.

You really emphasizing that the site has been hacked, I think you really hate them that much because you mention this several times, anyway about the slowness of Etherdeltha I think it is due to more and more token are added in their system. The more as a programmer, The system gets slow when more people are using it. When More token is added more people are also interacting.

After the DNS hijacking, things were pretty slow on etherdelta but that was during the change of management AFAIK & now i can't complain because etherdelta is running faster even the ethereum network is contributing to the smooth and faster  running of ED.

Interesting. The site worked again very slowly. There was no difference compared to the old one. I think you are a lucky day.
Now this exchange has become boring. We need to use alternative exchanges.

Well, I think it depends on the timing or you local internet speed. I hit that transfer button and they're fine, quick as lightning as mentioned above it took only for few seconds.
I don't do trading on Etherdelta because it's coin values are lower than commercial Cryptocurrency exchange so I'm using it to transfer coins into exchange temporary wallets.

Trying atm and it's suppper slooow. Frustrating as hell

Now it's not anymore, their team has been fixed major bug issues and since 2 weeks ago it's working fine.
I transferred some of my coins into an exchange site and it was working fine like 2 minutes of waiting then my coins were sent quickly to the other exchange wallet.
Etherdelta is now working fine and you guys could use it anytime.

ED started to fall ever since the new guy took over. I am avoiding etherdelta now because I am afraid my funds may get hacked. It is such a waste because it is one of the few dex who have all erc20 tokens.
Well, I am not worried about more hacks, I think they learned their lesson. But it is still darn slow. Come one Ether Delta, get more servers already!

Etherdelta's slowness isn't solely originating from itself. Cos ethergas (gwei) is constantly changing and becoming unstable, the processes are very struggling. Of course EtherDelta has many problems but obviously it doesn't give much confidence in other alternatives.
