dash imho is replacing litecoin, and investors are moving from scrypt to the new x11 asic algo, which is a good competitors to sha256 now, when many miners move to another place investors usually will follow them, i also think that dash is making al the opther coins increasing by bringing in the game more naive investors that are knowing about this world just now, very promising days for crypto are ahead of us
Well litecoin is stagnant and delusional as hell they think passing segwit will make them #2 again. They still focus on coinbase and call anyone who disagrees shills. The coin never evolved and doesn't deserve to be so large anymore, that and they can't get over there $40 all time high and think it's coming back.

I think it is partly that and also that the 'scam' meme has prevented lots of people realising what Dash has already achieved. Its almost like Dash has only now just been noticed.

You guys make serious money, but I sold my 2000 dash in 2014, at that time the price was 0.005 btc, and after that, I never bought Dash again.

Insane, I wanted to buy one Dash just yesterday but I decided not to and now I kind of regret it. However, I am a little bit worried about the price going up in such a short time. Bitcoin had a similar skyrocketting price in Dec 2013 and then it fell to half the price. This can happen right now again, which would be VERY bad for the investors but a golden opportunity for us, those that are late at the party like we were at the Bitcoin one. That's all I'm scared of. Otherwise, I would certainly go and buy some right now if I was sure it won't fall too soon.
Look again. BTC drop not in 50% it dropped in 80%
And Dash is not BTC. BTC had already a big userbase. But dash for that has that limited supply and the masternodes. Who knows in the end

it's great in some ways although it is a scam it is creating a lot of excitement in other coins.
