Thanks for that. I am sort of impatient. I'll try Moonpay.

Depending on where you live and what payment options you have available, there may even be an option for which you do not even need KYC (sending your personal information for identification) for smaller amounts. Have you looked into local exchanges in your country? Have you checked with your local community?

As stated above, the purchases are made through Moonpay whith whom you’ll need to open an account as described in their terms of use. You're not really summiting the data to bitcoin.org. I figure you summited you problem to them through their support page, where the you can select your issue as being related to "Account Registration" and then select "Create a new account" on the help matter. That should give you a ticket number to reference on further enquiries.

A 2 day (so far) wait is not unusual waiting for support to reach out to you, and if your intent is to still go through with them, waiting a few more days may be in line. Nevertheless, you can also take a step back at the moment and explore other options to buy bitcoin, and not just stick to the proposal made from that site.

I am trying to send my personal data bitcoin.org (I'm assuming this is a legit site, correct me if I err)
Yes it is legit, but you are not dealing with them if you buy bitcoins. They do not provide bitcoin exchange, it is provided by Moonpay (as described) which is not associated with bitcoin.org. In order not to be too complicated, use the moonpay site directly for proper exchange support.
Or use other exchanges like some of the suggestions above to make the buying process easier.

... I am trying to send my personal data bitcoin.org (I'm assuming this is a legit site, correct me if I err) requires to get into their system to buy and sell bitcoin ...

Huh, I wonder how many new users buy bitcoin this way? (i.e. via https://bitcoin.org/en/buy)

I'm guessing that a lot of new users might feel like this is the "official" way to do it (even though it's just a "MoonPay" widget).

That would be a great page to educate people about P2P exchanges and give them a couple of choices (Bisq, LocalCoinSwap, hodlhodl, etc.)

@OP: I've never bought bitcoin this way, so I can't offer you any help, sorry. You should be aware that there are many different ways of buying bitcoin and that some of them don't require you to share your personal info.

I am trying to send my personal data bitcoin.org (I'm assuming this is a legit site, correct me if I err) requires to get into their system to buy and sell bitcoin. My android won't work for this, so I want to know how to (if it's allowed) send my personal info by email. I used their support email address to ask, but they've yet to contact me and it's been two days. How long should I reasonably wait for a reply? Forgive me for being so vague in my first post, folks. I thank you for your help! Smiley
Well, if you don't want to pass KYC but wanted to buy Bitcoin then there other solution for that which you can check the post of BitMaxz. It is possible to send your personal info through email. You can send it on their customer support email if they did process manual KYC completion. Try to submit your personal info using pc. can say that it is the official website of Bitcoin which is bitcoin.org and it's legit afaik.

I am having trouble using an Android to send the proper data to begin buying/selling Bitcoin. Is there a way to get them my personal info by email directly from my pc? If so, please post. Thank you! HCN
Sometimes android have different interface on the PC maybe you just find it hard to use that system or the app doesnt displayed or work properly if using the PC. Try to ask on their support if the mobile version is supported via PC maybe its not thats why your having a hard time making it work.

You need to send what exactly and who should receive this information?
Android has nothing to do with this, but you can try doing the same thing on your desktop/laptop computer.
There is also a way to buy or sell Bitcoin without sending any kyc information, using Bisq, LocalCrytos or p2p trading.

You should contact support for manual KYC submissions, I think you have a chance of doing so if it's a local exchange. I once helped my friend because the application failed to activate the phone camera.
Some exchanges or crypto services use third party KYC handling services and it is common that they have to use a device with a camera as the realtime KYC method.

Like others say your post is not having an clarity about which documents you are saying to whom so you need to tell us atleast this information to have answers accordingly.

I don't know exactly what you were talking about but I think you are trying to submit personal info or documents to the exchange.
I also think he is talking about submitting KYC documents to some exchange directly from his pc or his email but can't say exactly till he did not make any clarifications on the matter.

When you are making a trade, it should be done on desktop computer or laptop, not on mobile if that trade is big enough for you. Basically, we can more easily make mistake on mobile rather than on desktop computer or laptop that has better keyboard and bigger screen. In addition, less protection (software) is used to protect mobile.

I don't understand your question and your need.

Just don't store your sensitive information in email or anything on third-party service. You don't control those data when they put it in.

Another note when making a transaction.

Can you not access the service via a website from your pc? This seems to me like the best way to go about this if you're having problems uploading documents from your phone.

Alternatively, you can normally email support your documents and they'll authenticate you on the system and do the kyc step for you.

This is a vague question that is difficult to answer. What kind of data are you talking about and who are "they"?
Please try to be more specific.

I don't know exactly what you were talking about but I think you are trying to submit personal info or documents to the exchange.

Can you add more details about your issue and what exchange you are using?

Or if you are looking for no KYC exchange go to Bisq or any p2p exchange you can find here https://kycnot.me/
