Here's the screen of the error.
Well I had the same problem on my dell i5 at home.
(Here I'm using the laptop of my girlfriend to test it).
Ironically I had the same problem and it took severeal hours after reinstalling and writing differnet texts in the datacoin.conf.
Sometime it works, but also there, I don't know why.
And then after clearing this problem during syncronizing I get the datacoin error " failed to read block".
Actually I thought it would be a little bit easyer to mine some ALT coins, but that's not the case

I'll pass this issue to main developer for investigation. Sometimes it happens with other alts: today I tried to connect my Quark wallet... it took me 2 hours on 2 computers in different networks
But we'll work at that!

Now it works, I din't know why, but it works.
possibly there were some dnsseed issues. Don't know exactly, just suggestion. Anyway, it's good that it works now
