Any chance you could post the source so we can compile ourselves and avoid malware? Curious why your exe is over twice the size as default client. If this is legit thanks for your effort!

Source was posted on the first page of this thread:
Source: https://github.com/foo1inge/datacoin-hp

Yes it is 'legit' It's twice the size because its optimized standalone.

Also, this client has little use with the newly released external miner, please see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/datacoin-external-miner-released-364205

Thank you, tip incoming!

Thanks its actually good policy to not just dl random bins, I also suggest to use testnet on client to test/verify it works correctly on your machine.

Yeah that's why I was looking for the source (don't know how I missed it).

did anyone have active testnet node? my wallet in testnet cannot sync...

I just want to check my config is right, so I want test it in testnet.

Usually 4-6 nodes active.

But my wallet in testnet does't have any active node. Could you post some? Very THX!

Updated Clients
https://sourceforge.net/projects/philosopherstone/files/DTC/

Datacoin-Qt_HP_Intel.zip - For newer Intel Line (i3i5i7)

Datacoin-Qt_HP_Bulldozer.zip For AMD bulldozer, Piledriver,Steamroller.

Datacoin-Qt_HP_Core2.zip - Legacy CPU or if the other ones crash on you.

Make sure to try out testnet=1 in your .conf file if you would like to compare block generation between clients, and test them out.  Solo mining is very difficult now but these can be usable until you switch to pools.

"try out testnet=1 in your .conf file"

is it necessary? I only have one PC.

It is not necessary. You can use testnet to get a better sense of any performance increases/decreases from different versions of the client because the difficulty is lower.

correct, I changed my wording in post, Testnet flag is just used if you want to compare clients in blockfinding, because obviously when you mine you want to find the most blocks, with testnet you can try many different command lines to optimize your block finding.
