The reason I believe why people are too scared or not too interested in actively investing in Bitcoin is because, majority of the investor ls in the crypto space are mostly there for the short-term gain and benefits of the market, and we all know that to reap the actual benefits of Bitcoin, one must consider the asset for its long-term potentials and benefits. Those who choose to go into short-term trading usually end up in lose because of the nature of Bitcoin.

Hence, the reason why most investors rush into gambling with their funds via altcoin investments, even when they know fully well about the risks involved in altcoins trading and that majority of the projects out there are mostly pump and dump projects.

It is indeed remarkable and a huge push for Bitcoin Speculations. He indirectly took to the MC that earning in fiat is a stable commodity but can be devalued by economy inflations.

Probably, he being Davido must had made excessive money in the event through fund raising and donations and knowing quite well that he may not be able to spend it all in a short time, so he decided to stack them in Bitcoin for store of value against economy inflation otherwise, a medium of assets storage potentially to yield income.

Let us also be aware that Davido has developed a clone known to be Davidocoin. So, he is really an insider that knows about crypto currencies.
I also applaud him for the speech because such is influential coming from someone like him amidst the calibers of audiences.

Regardless I think he has send a signal out there to the world that Crypto is a way to go. He has the liberty in his wedding to request anyway he wants people to donate to his wedding and he equally knows that as a celebrity, aside from his friends whom he knows use the crypto, I'm sure he's aware that there would be a tangible number of the crypto community present at the wedding who would also like to donate to his wedding and I'm pretty sure he's aware the crypto guys will like to do it the big men's way. Hence, his announcement to collect donations in BTCs. That could serve as an indirect campaign for Bitcoin thereby attracting more people to pick interest in it, Davido is very influential and him accepting Bitcoin on his wedding could trigger most of his fans who had doubt to consider Bitcoin since their idol is accepting the use of it. However Davido is wise to have chosen Bitcoin over those fiat currency this shows that he has a good knowledge about Bitcoin and it's potential, someone who doesn't have a knowledge about it would choose any of those fiat currency maybe Pounds or probably the USD but he wisely chose BTC which shows that he knows the value of Bitcoin, this could further cause those lawmakers that were present on the occasion to reconsider their stance on Cryptocurrency at large.

Davido requesting to get Bitcoin as gift is nothing new but rather I see it as a message to the high and mighty, the powers that be and etc that graced his wedding. There was no way he could do that than to make it loud there for them to hear. It is good he did that so that they would have a rethink on their decisions against bitcoin and begin amend their lapses by making necessary corrections they already did in the past.
I believe the government is critically looking at the possibility of making an amend because I saw on one of the online dailies where the EFCC boss was making a positive statement on bitcoin/Crypto currency. I believe the government would act upon it soonest.

Davido was worth more than that amount he sold and even if he had lost that amount it wouldn't have reduced his wealth or his fame.

And also to add up to all I've said,the reason why I said it isn't impressive on other hand is because this same Davido came up with a project $DAVIDO and it happened to be a pump and dump scheme.Most curious Nigerians most especially his fans invested their funds into $DAVIDO and at the long run the project crashed.

We are our own problems and it's a pitty that we don't see these problems or maybe we the minority see it but the majority who worship celebrity status for money doesn't see these problems and that's why when celerity do some things, we don't talk and see that as norms in the society and that is what many of them are doing repeatedly.

I've been busy lately so I gave a little ear to the #CHIVIDO's event. Though I heard of foreign currencies but not Bitcoin until I watched the attached video. Whoa, that sounds great, after all, the Nigerian government has created a vacuum, and people are now thinking of alternatives. I hope they will not ban the spraying of foreign currencies in addition, or the spending of cryptocurrencies...lol Clueless people!

Back to Davido's remark, well, the market doesn't behave the way you believed it, someone that can't sustain his own token ($Davido), how can he influence a huge liquidity asset like Bitcoin?

I am not that too surprised when it's coming from a young man like davido, because we that are young, we knows that in today's society cryptocurrency is very much key in our finances if we invest wisely, mostly in Bitcoin, because it's not just the first, but also the most reliable crypto in existence.

But if it was coming from one of our old politicians, I would be very shocked, because it's near impossible for those clueless folks to have knowledge of how the digital currency works and how they can even navigate their way around it.

And talking of the davido token and how it plays out, people will never learn because they mostly feel that knowledge is too expensive, and secondly it's because of greed that they went that part in the first place, because they were looking for 50x to 100x profit, but they don't know that they were just gambling with their hard earned money when investing in shit coin.
