I will prefer both because that is the right thing for me and if i will do both then i will not miss the opportunity to make profit because i can just day trade the altcoins and also hold my bitcoin and other altcoins for long term so i have a balance way in making money in crypto.
Well, both are a wise choice, it helps us limit our risk and get more opportunities to make a profit, we will not waste much time on hold and wait, I also divide my capital into 70% for holding and 30% for day trading. I do not want to spend too much of my capital on trading day because it is quite risky although it can bring us good profit but we need also to be careful and should not risk too much money on trading day. Holding is safer, profits are quite high, 70% of the capital is very reasonable, combining both trading day and holding, we will get a huge profit source

I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

Ive agree that it is better  to  bought bitcoins in lower price and  hold it now, until the value of 1btc turns to $8000. for as of now  the current situation when you buy a bitcoins  is so high, but it better now to buy today and hoard it or trade it another alcoins and sell when the value  is gain so high.
Every price of bitcoin to me is still lower at this stage. Quote me in the next few years if I ended up wrong., just quickly want to point that out from what you said.

You do not have to wait for the value of bitcoin to rise or stop rising before you either day trade or HODL, it all depends on each individual and their system of trading. Either btc/usd or btc/alts.

However, studying the market is what is important for two of them and as long as anyone is ready to go through the stress of monitoring the charts each and every day, while day trading, then it is good and more profitable, and if they cannot, long term is just the best for them to stick to, it is profitable as well, but both comes with the same trading risk as far as I am concerned.

Why not to perform both? Portfolio diversification can bring much more value than just holding or just making some daily trades.
Choose where to enter the trade, choose where to close trade. Repeat.
And doesnt matter if it will be triggered in 2 hours or in 2 weeks. Thats it Smiley
Most traders do not trade like that , most of them have a specific time frame when they trade, there are day traders, their positions most of the time are only open for a few minutes or at most some hours, they are not going to leave a position open at the end of the day, then there are mid term traders, their positions can be open for a week or some months and then there are long term traders or holders, they hold for a year at minimum and are going to hold until bitcoin reaches the price they want.

Depends on personalities.
* Can you stay up all day or night watching charts? If yes then try Day trading
* Can you trade fast moving market. If yes then try Day trading
* Do you panic a lots:  If yes then Holding would do

* Are you the type of person that regrets a lot if something doesn't go your way? If yes then stick with Holding

Day trading seems a better choice for me. Holding is also fine but in my opinion, you bigger capital to hold than you need to trade.

maybe this is the right time to sell bitcoin. well, the current price is really high, and I'm sure, many do that. many think that soon bitcoin prices will go down, and rise again at the end of the year, so it's a good opportunity to sell.

Agreed if you have bought bicoins at lower price then this is the perfect time to sell bitcoins and get higher profits as price is likely to go down in coming days as many people will start selling their coins now to make huge profits so before its too late you should sell your coins at the right time and when price falls that would be an good opportunity to buy bitcoins at lower price and hold it for future.
For me it's better to hold now the bitcoin, because their price in the market was striking up. Me together with my friends are dealing the risks of waiting, because we know that bitcoin value was continuously raising up.
Definitely we are confident that before end of this year crypto currency value were much expensive. Hoping that our taking risks was gain of good results.
I think it is depending on ones experience and interest, if a person is interested in day trading then he must have good experience in day trading, but those people who do not have any experience in trading then i think long term investment is good option for him. I think that long term investment is a little safe as compare to day trading.

It's hard to be consistent with day-trading.  If you're not, you will slowly (or maybe not so slowly) lose all of your capital.  Make sure you have a back-tested proven strategy if you're going to day-trade.  It's also tricky because you need to pay attention to the market all day long.  But, given the wild swings that bitcoin has, there's plenty of opportunity to profit.

Personally, I do a little bit of day- or short-term trading, but for most of my cryptos, I either hold or hodl for a while. Smiley

I am currently involved with day trading. If I had enough money to invest, I would divide it into two, use one half for day trading and the other for holding. Both practices can be quite profitable if things go well for you.
Turned into an informal investor require embrace practice and patient in the event that you have it's great generally it's so risky.Divide won capital into two, utilize one half for day trading and the other for holding. The two practices can be very gainful pleasant idea

HODL!! all the way. You will lose more money trying to beat the market if you have no clue what you are doing.
If you have no clue what are you doing, stop all and do not continue to trading or invest. I do not think you will have profits after invested while you can not understand your decision. Finally, only you become loser and others will get profits from you.

Somettimes day trading is good for making instantly,But if your investment is too big and you want to make your profit 5 to 10 times then holding is the best option.I prefer like holding. On other hand, for day trading you need some skills also..

Day trading right now could benefit everyone massively. Looks like the price is going to continue to take a hike until the hard fork.

Isn't it not a nice move if the trend is upward then you will sell your coins? Try to wait futher more. It's not about being a greedy but there is something more valuable than securing a profits. But if there's such a case that people really want to dump their coins now then go ahead.

It's their coins after all and we have different purposes when executing our selling moves.
