How can you prove that Dbet is DirectBet?

They aren't the same and it was never stated that they were. DBet is a sportsbook that has a very similar offering that DirectBet had (might even be based off of old DirectBet code or just heavily inspired), but they are a separate entity.

I used to bet over old DirectBet site but the odds were great whenever played but this website does not offer the same and I fear a bit to send my coins to my selected bet unless I see some reviews from reputed big gamblers of the forum. All I am seeing are people complaining about lesser odds that I too pointed out when I checked and compared them to other sites.

Interesting... I was a big fan of directbet and being able to place microbets using dogecoin... Not sure I would spend bitcoin here, especially knowing there is a separate withdrawal fee that is not already accounted for in the slightly wide odds dispersion, but I'll be back in a few months to check on how things have been developing.
odds aren't BIT LESS it's MUCH LESS
Thats a 2% difference for both teams, not exactly "much less", by my definition... That is the price you pay for being able to make a live bet on the fly without having to register an account.
In any case this site needs some more reputation behind it (oh and yes please do away with the withdraw fees) before I feel comfortable sending BTC over there.
Thank you for your objective evaluation.
We are here to listen to everyone's opinions. We have placed the implementing own wallet manager system at the highest priority and plan to complete it in about three weeks. For sending/receiving bitcoin, we should be able to remove most of the fees charged by the current payment gateway.
Welcome you to experience our services in the future.

Just checked out your website and it looks alright. I dig the black and orange look. No KYC and account requirement is also a plus point. I don't really have a lot of issues with the juice that others mentioned, but the odds need to stay competitive over time.
I personally suggest offering regular bonuses in order to attract more and more gamblers like other popular sites(Cloudbet, Bodog etc).
Thank you for your comment.
Your advice is good and is very popular with most bookmakers. We will consider doing some promotions at the right time.
We will also provide other more valuable rewards. Dbet and the player's interests are the same. We plan to provide free high-skilled professional sports tips for active players to help players improve their winning percentage and ensure the benefits. This will be achieved step by step.
Sign up for an account for rewards at Dbet, or just place a bet without signing up, leave an email address and you won't miss the reward!

Not true. I just looked up a few MLB games at random and their odds are only slightly wider than Fairlay.

For example, dbet:

Braves 2.303
Nationals 1.647

Fairlay:

Braves 2.35
Nationals 1.680

Thats a 2% difference for both teams, not exactly "much less", by my definition... That is the price you pay for being able to make a live bet on the fly without having to register an account.

wow , with such juice I don't even know why someone will ever bet with you instead of just wagering with bitcoinrush , betbtc and fairlay
yeah I know Directbet used to have such shitty lines in the past , but at that time they had many coins as well and they were trusted anyways so some dumb gamblers felt better about betting with them
You are right, Fairlay is good.
But our customer base is different. Fairlay still needs to open an account to deposit coins. Dbet is faced with a group that wants to control the coins in their hands most of the time and occasionally bet.
Most of the time, the coins are controlled in your own hands, and it is also conducive to reducing the morbid gambling addiction.
I understand your point of view and understand other needs.

There is a part that looks unclear to me. When you say there is no need to make a deposit to play, does not mean there is no option to deposit as you just get there and play or you are given the opportunity to bet with some coins and after which if you so wish, you can then make some deposit. I think that part needs to be made clear for people to know what they are entering into before going fully in.
How to place a bet on Dbet, watch this video:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hOhA6Zta_pmlsjA7jXuISDJoZfxx-BAH/view?usp=sharing

Is this safe though? It does seem to me a little dodgy because it just seems to work only by sending the money with no account or address or anything whats so ever. I understand that sometimes simplicity is better but just because its simple doesn't mean that it has to take away the safety.
You have to enter BTC address to receive the winnings. It's just that you can bet without creating account and password for it.
I don't like the bet settlement time though. Usually most of the sportsbooks settles within 2-5 min after event ends. I am kinda frequent live games so it kinda matters to me.
The betting process, you explained clearly.
Settlement time, because most sportsbooks are settled to the account, in theory, the coins is still under the control of the bookie, there is no risk in quick settlement. Dbet will send the winnings to the player after settlement. This requires a review to prevent the risk. In general, it can be settled within 30 minutes. Some potentially controversial events may be extended to 6 hours.

I see and by the sound of it you seem to have already tested Dbet or am I mistaken? If you've tried Dbet platform to place you sports bets could you confirm wether this was legit and you had no problems? I always get cautious when someone's asking me to send them money even in gambling as you can never know if their platform is legit or not. Thanks Smiley

Unbelievable !!!! Only anonymous and illegal bookmakers are advertised in this forum. Sorry, but I don't risk my satoshi in a site where there isn't even an email to turn to
Illegal? You can definitely choose one of the sites where they ask KYC and fake their licenses. If you don't like to be anonymous, why are you in the crypto sphere in the first place?
you are free to send your money even to totally unknown people.
I don't bet peanuts, but I bet big sums, so I don't send my money to strangers. Just to clarify, in over 15 years of betting, I have always been paid by all bookmakers (with fiat or crypto accounts)

Dumb? Anonymous fast bets, instant withdrawals, trusted service and no KYC shit == JUICE. I don't care if the odds are a bit less compared to other sites I prefer smooth operations over winning huge and waiting months to validate my KYC.

yeah dumb , Fairlay has all of what you mentioned but with much better odds
they have instant withdrawals , better odds and never asked for KYC unless for one guy who was depositing a lot of money with them without betting so he basically was washing his btc with them without even betting

odds aren't BIT LESS it's MUCH LESS
so I don't see a reason why someone would choose Directbet instead of fairlay unless he wants to wager other coins cause at that time only directbet used to offer different coins

Not true. There are many casinos out here that are officially licensed by some authorities and comply with the legislation on their territory. An example of a licensed gambling website, for instance, is Sportsbet you can see in my signature. Moreover, Bitcointalk is actually dealing pretty good with trust matters. If you want to minimize the risks of getting scammed, choose the casinos whose affiliated accounts have positive trust. These casinos are usually too profitable and reputable to scam a particular user, so you can be fairly safe.

Okay, but why are you ignoring the important question that Pamoldar asked? Normally, if a person deposits money onto the website and then makes the bet if the bet amount limit is exceeded, the website can just make a notification about it. But since the player is sending the money directly to a specific Bitcoin address, the maximum bet seems to be a must. After all, you don't want to end up in a very unpleasant situation when someone makes a huge bet and wins, and you simply cannot make the payout. This would be the end of your potential success since it would totally ruin the reputation of the casino.
I also wanted to ask whether the website is supposed to have big white margins on the left and on the right, or perhaps this website is not working properly on my laptop.
For the first question, please refer to the above reply to Pamoldar.
The second question, there are really white sides on both sides of the site, this is not a problem with your laptop. Regarding the UI design of the website, we will listen to your opinions and gradually improve.
Oh, okay, sorry. Well, two white sidebars look weird to me. I think the website would become better if you delete these margins. But then again, it's just my opinion, some might disagree.

these days btc fees aren't as soft as they used to be 2 years ago so betting with you is just a money burn IMO

no trust , no good odds and horrible fees
but guess trust isn't important since the odds are horrible anyways and you will be making tons by just accepting bets

with all the good btc sportsbooks around new books should look to be competitive not just offering shittier services

My question still stands. How much max you can pay to a winner? Say someone won 400BTC, are you able to honer the withdrawal once they ask?
Each event has a set maximum amount. If a player incorrectly sends a large amount of bitcoin, the corresponding bet will not take effect and we will refund.

Yeah, and we really hope your words will be true unlike the others who committed scam attempts, the public will have an eyes on your project, especially to that feature of yours with an automatic withdraw of winnings.
Anyways, I think you should just edit your previous post rather than posting simultaneously, especially if no one has replied after your previous post.
Our main function is to provide no account needed, single bet, single settlement function.
I am learning about the rules and techniques for posting, thank you for your advice!

To lighten up the mood a lil bit here.
I noticed from dbet's website a minor typo error, yet the dev should correct it.
Also, in the Contact us tab, can you provide at least an email account for support aside from the form you provided?
Thank you for your support, this text error will be corrected today.
We will also add our email address to the Contactus page. This is a good suggestion, thank you!

Another sportsbook?
Okay that's cool to have many choices so that, the one providing the best odds will be appreciated by all the members.
The thing that worries me is the lack of promotions by the site.
Atleast you have purchased Copper membership OP in order to make this thread cool and attractive?
Nevertheless wish you Good luck,  and if possible i will do test the site whenever i get time to do it so.
You are also welcome to test the unique betting fun of the whole network.
No Account Needed –Simply send your bets to a designated address and your winnings will be sent back directly to your Bitcoin wallet.

I like to be anonymous in every gambling site when I registered. But I must prepare by creating an account for more secure but the Idea is good for the person who do not want to create their account and only bitcoin address they need to start using this gambling site. What player choose this instead of other sportbook? More improvement needed to this as my suggesstion.
We are here to listen to your suggestions and work hard.
If a player doesn't like to keep Bitcoin always in a third-party account, he can try our service.

Our email address is: support$dbet.io (replace $ with @), and at #1 this topic, we will also add it to the contacus page of the site.

I think you can make something out of this, but you have to first listen to the feedback and then make changes accordingly. You are quite brand new in this space and we have seen plenty of million dollar efforts not making as much as some one man shops in crypto casino world, it doesn't matter how much money you spend or how big of a coder you are and what not or not even what your provider is (pinnacle is the main provider in crypto though).
So, that means it doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, it doesn't matter if you are good coder or bad. As long as you listen to peoples complaints and feedback and actually make something out of it and bring back to them like "you said x, I did this, do you like it?" and they will see you really care and that would make you go high in the list.
Thank you very much for your suggestion. We are newcomers. As you can see, there are some shortcomings. We will try our best to listen to everyone’s opinions, whether it is encouragement or criticism, and strive to do better.

The sites (Dbet.io) should be the type of gambling sites that should be emulated in crypto gambling, because, it is Anonymous and since the idea of crypto is complete Anonymous I think if the developer can build trust and confidence in gamblers to gamble there he will have a lot of sport lovers using the site for gamble.
Dbet understand and want to promote the anonymity of Crypto, thank you for your evaluation.
