See I cant use the difficulty modifier when I use pools like that unless you know how to with cudaminer. Usually I add it after the wallet addy when I mine p2p... but pools like this where you have a user name I can not.

OK great. It seems that most of the smaller pushpools still have front ends for PPS or RBPPS or whatever so the displayed stats are weird when they use PPLNS, like showing "round shares".

I just left a tiny worker on this pool for now but I did get both a block reward, and an extra block in my wallet this morning.

Finding a block and not getting paid pretty much sunk the ship for me.

Payments are distributed when block hits 26 confirmations.
The reward is calculated accordingly to user contribution to last (10000 * doubloons difficulty) shares submitted to pool by all users so it might take some time (even few blocks further) to get your full reward.

I'll give extra purse of doubloons to all new users with some shares submitted.

Just downloaded and started mining. The difficulty is quite tempting to hit a block solo. It feels great when getting a block rather than payouts from a pool.

Anyway, with a 0.13~ difficulty, unless you have a really low hash rate you're probably better off just solo mining.

Try running then all with less connections or turn off upnp. All the clients I compiled use upnp, so it might be upnp that's hogging you pc (just to check..)
