It is almost safe to say that half the Internet was down yesterday and not just for an hour or two. Many Google and Amazone services were not working.
It seems that Verizon was responsible for the outage.

So it wasnt just me. Half the websites I usually visit stopped working, the other half worked just fine. What is interesting is that my IPTV couldnt connect, neither did the box for my Cable TV. How can Cloudflare cause all that?

Cloudflare didn't cause it. There was a routing problem on the internet that caused some IP address ranges to be unreachable including some that Cloudflare use.

I think this is somewhat true, I'm still online yesterday and was able to post, and didn't experienced anything such as cloudflare error,... Though in our TG group it said that some of the users can't access the forum.

Or does it really happened and I just didn't notice it? I was lurking around services section the whole day 😂 and based on my TG Group it was not just for an hour... Huh

I'm also having that issue before. It's probably caused by this Cloudflare route leak incident https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/46z55mdhg0t5. A lot of other websites affected by this too.
I wonder if traffic is being routed through China (again). This is what happened not long ago when some of the routing tables got messed up for a short time.

This was the first thought on my mind;  or the govt in the US re-routing to their data storage centers or something....  But wouldn't put it past the Chinese to do something funky again.....

It was definitely a blacked out access period to that and a couple other sites....  but came back ~2 hours later.

Is it really Cloudflare? Because I got a 502 bad gateway and codes starting with 5xx are related to server directly (?) If it was CF I wouldn't be able to see a displayed code, No?

Waiting for a more trustable source, I say yes other forums based on Cloudflare were down.

Forum was inaccessible for almost two hours for me, but I also see same problem on some other sites so I concluded that something is happening, and that it is not related to bitcointalk only.

Now the situation is completely normalized, no delays or any errors on my side.

This is my assumption as well, a lot of services were affected by this (for example Discord).

It took us down for a bit as well. Seems to be only partially resolved as I'm still getting intermittent failures on some sites.

I also experienced the same thing 1 hour ago I could not enter the site. I have tried switching browsers but it's still the same and my internet connection is fine too.

I was having the same problem earlier, site wasn't loading at all. I used one of those online uptime/downtime websites to check if it was just me, and it seems like the site was up in some places but down in others (don't know how reliable those websites are tho).

EDIT* @dbshck is right, problem was Cloudfare. Check it out, Discord and other sites were down as well: https://www.theverge.com/2019/6/24/18715308/discord-down-outage-cloudflare-problems-crunchyroll-feedly

Guess all of us, but I think the forum is back now.
This is the first time I have this year IIRC, last 2017 there are more down times.

Still waiting for the ANN on what is happening.

Am I the only one having connectivity issues with bitcointalk at the moment? The connection gets timed out and takes a few minutes to load a page. Typical server response when a website is being DDOS'd.

P.S. - No, it's not my internet connection or other browser issues.
I am fine here and using tor.
