Look closely blokexplorer. No one is correct. Perhaps this is the usual scam. Those who know the code look more carefully.

A bunch of people get their coin age wiped for nothing and you all rush to defend the developer and mock the people who were affected by the developer's mistake?

This is like the 1000th PoW/PoS in the last year, if the dev can't get this right at this point in the game, you should be just a little bit concerned. I'm not about to sell cheap but let's have a little perspective here folks...

This was a godsend for those that added a big chunk to their portfolio last minute.

Aside from that, shit happens. It def sucks for those that had mature coins, which have now staked miniscule amounts. Once resolved, its go time. Think of this as an opportunity to grab more and have them mature before the fix and recompile.

This is an opportunity.

This should be a easy fix. I'm loading up on ILT while you guys panic dump.

It's a one line fix. /popcorn mode commence!

but why need fix?  maybe dev not understand coding good

Frankly the rest of the code is fine. This type of mistake is something you would make while tired, or something. It does bring on a point however, that you should test the life of the coin on a testnet to ensure 3650% staking before you claim such a number, much less if the block subsidy is in satoshi format. If you miss one, both are wrong, and therefore there obviously was no testing of the staking mechanism.

This all makes me laugh. MMXIV is 2014% stake, yet I just staked a block for 0.88 subsidy. Guess that coin is broken too huh?

Calm down and wait.

lmfao at the ppl who dumped

lmfao at the ppl who didn't sell. It's obvious that dumps are coming. Better to rebuy at a lower price.

I got a feeling that klopper missed his chance to mine this or to buy in when it was around 3K, which I doubt it will be again anytime soon.  Better buy up now bud, 5-6K is a very good price, almost (almost) as much as it would cost you if you were to mine it day 1.

But hey, I understand, you gota do what you gota do, we all want cheaper coins Wink

I remove buy order in just time.  less 5k now  still go lower  glad not buy and hold bag

I'm no expert, but looks like the problem is here:

https://github.com/intellect-project/intellect/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1000

Code:
int64_t nSubsidy = nCoinAge * nRewardCoinYear / 365 / COIN;

It divides by COIN(/ COIN), putting the block subsidy in non satoshi format. nSubsidy is already in satoshis because of nRewardCoinYear multiplying by COIN.

If this is the case(99% sure it is), I suggest everyone simply stop running their wallets until a fork because your coin age will persist, and you will have "gained" block subsidy upon staking post-fork. Opposed to now at least.
