I lost some various coins that are now stuck in there.  Thankfully not a ton.  I always thought this exchange would get it together.  The site was painfully slow most of the time.  But the thing I liked is that they always let you know what we going on via their Twitter feed.  I guess I just need to be more cautious.

I guess we will never no the truth unless we sue but you'll end up losing even more to do justice.

Everyone withdraw right now as they will probably take all the servers offline. On another note, if anyone wants to setup a decent secure exchange that is actually penetration tested and audited and built from custom code, contact us at:

So, just like MtGox, CryptoRush.in suddenly "discover" they are insolvent (missing 1200 BTC?)...? And then decide to sell their fraudulent operation to someone who seems to know nothing about crypto...?

Quote from: fyrstikken
2. CryptoRush will from now on have their customers cold-storage placed on Cryptsy, JustCoin, Bitstamp, BTC-E, CampBX and other well known, well secured Bitcoinexchanges as an extra layer of security, as we learned from MtGox - never have all the eggs in one basket.

Customers' cold storage placed on other exchanges?? This guy must be smoking his matches...

ATTENTION: Please be aware that at this time, due to insolvency and site ownership changes, all deposits and trades are to be considered at your own risk. Depleted wallets will not be able to fund coin withdrawals. Affected Wallets: BTC, LTC, POT, AUR, QRK, WAS and BAT Semi-Official IRC Chat log from CryptoRush: http://pastebin.com/mrqJQ9Kb.
Side Note: FYRSTIKKEN is NOT an owner or any way affiliated with CryptoRush.

Hmmmm, seems like some more grim news for bitcoiners.  Not surprised really, with all the bad things that have being going on with them of late.

I noticed their announcement has now been updated.

Public Warning
ATTENTION: Please be aware that at this time, due to insolvency and site ownership changes, all deposits and trades are to be considered at your own risk. Depleted wallets will not be able to fund coin withdrawals. Affected Wallets: BTC, LTC, POT, AUR, QRK, WAS and BAT Semi-Official IRC Chat log from CryptoRush: http://pastebin.com/mrqJQ9Kb.
Coins that have completed Maintenance: AUR, FCK, FRY, HXC, LEAF, LYC, PANDA, P$, Q2C, SCO, UTC, UNC, VMP
Coins that are Down for Daemon Upgrades: HUC, XIV, KOI, DOGE, LTC, ICN, COINO, VOLT, FOX, EAC, DGB

It looks like they are making it harder and harder for people to get their money out. I think they just added DOGE to the list of coins Down for Daemon Upgrades and someone on here was just saying buying DOGE was a good way to get your money out.

Damn it...I still have some BTC left there.
Which is the best altcoin to buy and transfer from cryptorush now?
Lets hope it comes back somehow.

Not sure if anything is left, without taking a big loss. The bones have been picked clean.

Last night I checked the site again and realized I forgot and left some crumbs behind. I ended up picking something called 888 ... which I was able to sell on Bittrex for about what I paid. Check out weird coins like that, if any are left, and maybe you can take just a minor loss. Look at small exchanges (bittrex, atomic trade, sci-fi exchange) as to where to try to sell whatever oddball coin you get.

I lost a couple ltc there, small size.

It seems that losing coins due to an exchange getting hacked is pretty normal. I am writing this loss off as a cost of doing business.

Hopefully no one was actually keeping coins there and just lost on current trades, which is still bullshit. From what it looks like to me is they are masters at this.

Watch they regain trust of many again after people lose some btc, thrn they do it again.

My prediction. Call it a hunch lol

So sad, it seemed like a good exchange, probably they didn't reinvested money and had good developers to increase security.
