Decentralised exchanges are awesome and I prefer to trade on them for several reasons. First of all, I like the fact that I still have control over my own funds and it is pretty hard to manipulate the volume of a DEX.
in any case, the decentralization of trading platforms, it gives certain advantages to the user, including anonymity and security of their funds. But if many users of cryptocurrency, trying to manipulate the cryptocurrency market, then they will make it the right moment, regardless of whether there is a decentralized system or vice versa.

I really wish I had some smerits to give you, because this post deserves a ton of them.
You've listed just about every decentralized exchange in existence and you've managed to format a pretty decent post layout.

Kudos to you OP, this is one of those rare posts that will go into my bookmarks immediately!
I'm 100% sure that I will be using this in the future.
There is nothing as fulfilling as being of help to oneself. My joy is to see the crypto space become a secured and one of the best places to be, by contributing my own quota in this form.

Thanks for sharing the list.. although I tend to prefer centralised exchanges to decentralised exchanges, if not for any other reason then the fact that I do not have to put my private key at risk and the transaction fees are always constant.

There are so many Decentralize Exchange and I have some question with the exchange like this. Is there any chance that the crypto being deposited will be hi jack and taken out from the hacker just like what centralized exchanges had been experiencing into? THere are hi jacking happens on some centralized exchange so if the decentralized exchange will not be easily hijack then decentralized exchange is the future of crypto exchanges.
When using any exchange, decentralized in this case, you need to ensure they already have a track record of trust, most especially. Take for instance, there are quite some number of well known decentralized exchanges that have been able to build trust in the mind of users for quite some time, coupled with the fact that they cannot be easily hacked.
Since the team can be trusted to make the system fully decentralized, which means your private keys are not being stored, then you need not fear an hijacker or someone hacking the system, because it will be the hardest thing to do. The only exception will be if you are clicking on a phishing site.

Thank you Bonwin for such a wonderful writeup. It surely helps people understand what are the advantages of decentralized exchanges vs centralized. Lately or I would say quite often Crypto exchanges get hacked and users lose their funds. The most recent being Cryptopia. Though the investigation is on, no one knows what will be the outcomes. Lot of people are just worried about the funds that were stored on Cryptopia.

I hope that 2019 will be a year for DEX exchanges where people will not only feel secured trading but the overall liquidity increases as people get used to such exchanges.

Once again thank you for the writeup.

Wonderful article from the OP. If I could I would have given you a Merit. However, are decentralized exchanges all that safe? I remember back in 2017 there was a hack on ether delta in which many investors lost their assets. Is there any 100% way to protect people's investment on dexs?

Decentralization has been the key driving force of cryptocurrency since inception. This in my opinion is the attraction point for mass adoption, most especially being an alternative to centralization.

Those who use centralized exchanges, whether regulated or not, do not have any anonymity, because their personal details are being submitted.
For security purpose, a lot of crypto enthusiasts are also being careful of giving out their details to scammers, even while using exchanges.
Little do i wonder, even Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency excahange, who knows the importance of decentralization in the crypto space, had to reveal the release of its most anticipated   Binance DEX.
Also, due to some reasons, such as the hack of centralized exchanges, lost of funds and users not having full control over their funds, more users might switch over to the use of decentralized exchanges. Which is now evident, seeing so many projects considering listing on decentralized exchanges.

This has then spurred me to give a list of some reputable decentralized exchanges that are presently operational in the crypto space, but before that, i would explain what decentralized exchange is and state some of its advantages and disadvantages.

UPDATE IN PROGRESS...

Thank you OP for your effort in making this trade, it's very informative and helpful on those new in this technology. I not even know some of those decentralized exchanges as I'm only did my trading in IDEX, BANCOR and forkdelta. With this trade, I will need to explore also those other decentralized exchanges to compare on myself which among of them has comfortable and safe features.

Unfortunately, we cannot be sure of any exchange to which we are referring. In any case, I was interested to see this review.

Is forkdelta included here? I guess forkdelta is the perfect example of the decentralized exchange because when I use it, there's no verification needed as I sell and buy some altcoins there.
Folkdelta is on the list. There are other DEXes on the list, which i am sure you will also like.
It is a good thing to know you already have a decentralized exchange that is your favorite.
Just like i said, a trial of others will make you a complete fan of decentralized exchanges.

It's such a comprehensive list. This will be the first time I'm hearing about most of the Dex you listed, why I have used a few, I appreciate the simplicity of Bancor on how trades are carried out.
Maybe because some Dex site is not really popular, that is why people often to use it. Me personally only use site that already good to used by a lot of people. But each transaction, if i must use private keys, i will make new wallet and not use my main wallet's private key.

Not only both of these dex, but there was a lot of dex are not getting any popularity among the crypto users. The dex makes them all are not interesting to play with it caused by there was a lot of fees they must pay to create any transaction.
I have checked some of the sites, and it amazes me to see some DEXes with btc pair. You can click on NebliDEX and BTSABC as provided by the author.

What is author has done is a great job. Compiling things of this nature, requires a lot of effort. I have bookmarked it and will follow it up as more updates come in.

I really appreciate the effort there is to write all lists of Decentralized Exchanges. I hope you also continue to update the new list for the new DEX entering the crypto market.
