I reckon if it survives after the airdrop campaign, it will be worth something

The total supply of onions is also heavily centralized (99% of onions being held by 7 wallets)

Where did you see/found those numbers? any source.?
Just be careful everybody and thread with caution.

Just check the Blockexplorer. Then remove the premined addresses and redo the Math.

Deep onion is a joke, most of the supply comes from free airdrops.... only kids spamming this overhyped coin in order to get free airdrops..., when the airdrops are over, the market cap wil decrease to almost zero.... Deep vault is nothing to brag about, it has no meaning.... good for free airdrops and free cash, nothing more

nah lots of coins have airdrops.  Its a POW/POS coin too.  And the question wasnt if it was a coin you like or agree with, but if it will go to the moon, and the answer is yes Smiley

nah DeepOnion is an airdrop coin, falls out of the air into the river, where little fish can eat this poison..... 300K airdrop next week ?? the week after again 300.000 airdrop for slaves that only talked in a positive way about them.... oh boy if they can find 1 objective of slightly negative post, you ll get banned for future airdrops and banned from the DO community... = Good luck to you anyway if you believe in your own lie

ONCE all the airdrops are over NO ONE will talk/post/write/hear about Deep onion again.. ever... because its all hyped.. the little kids will wonder... no free coins = no posting about DO = DO dead...

Anyone think that deep onion will blow up in 2018-2019? With low total coin supply,Anonymous Transactions and such low market cap, Anyone see it between 1Bn-5Bn market cap in 2018-19? Share your thoughts please.
In my opinion , onion is a shitcoin .Do you know why it's so "hot",but no main exchanges list it ? low total supply and low market cap , too many coins like this.
Anonymous , how about compare with Dash ? Don't be dreaming man, onion's best feature is its distribution , is it worth 1-5 billion?

All depends on what your expectations are. With all the projects, there's always less and less chance of a coin "making it". With that being said, the community is solid and the dev team is very active. Those are two HUGE things to look for in a project.

Privacy coins are important and DO has a mission that they're sticking to.

Obviously, i'm invested so this is super biased but it's the reason I got into the coin to begin with.

DeepOnion is actually a scam. Sorry to break your heart. Just work with Monero. People on TOR already accept Monero and it has the best privacy function out of all the privacy coins. The only thing holding XMR back at the momenet is the lack of an easy wallet. Dont trow your money away in sinkholes

DeepOnion has a very strong support community and software development schedule. It is a privacy coin that operates using TOR and is 100% anonymous and was released in August 2017. Please explain how Monero is a "better" privacy coin? Monero has been around since 2014 and lacks an "easy wallet", but is priced at $243? I don't understand.

I think the onions can blow up only thanks to competent marketing and positing as Tor project. There are a lot of similar technologies, it's not clear what their feature is.

I doubt that. I never think that deep onion is a big coin which can make some difference to the cryptocurrency community. However, maybe in the future, they can create a new impact on the crypto world which can change our lives. If the dev team is good, D.O can do anything

I don't think DeepOnion will be so big this year. And I think DeepOnion will never reach the high levels again. First of all it as offering nothing new and second it is made a little too late, in my opinion.

@BTCMILLIONAIRE I think you are mistaken on at least some of your facts. The top 25 wallets only hold 62% (ref: http://explorer.deeponion.org/richlist) so it is not possible for the top 7% to hold 99%

Personally I was skeptical, as I am with every crypto project, but I have been watching the rapid development that has been taking place recently and I would like to think that they wouldn't be going to all that work to try and catch up with the road map if they weren't serious.

Bitcoin dropped from 20k to almost 6k, not 85% but still absolutely massive and more significant given its market dominance. Small project took a big hit, some bigger than others, it doesn't necessarily mean it's a good or bad project.

Either way, in 10 weeks we will see who is right.

Heard a lot about this coin in recent times and decided to check out the forum and observed that this coin had great community support and healthy number of developers supporting it which is why I invested small amount of money into this coin when it touched $3 recently. I do agree that there are way better anonymous coins out there like monero etc, but Deeponion does have potential and I might be able to earn healthy profits in the long term if the developers stick to the roadmap map consistently. Let's see what happens with this coin in the near future.
Which they don't. They have failed to stick to their roadmap.

No, not at all, it is a falling star. Not a sleeping giant.

Why so? What is your argument?
Damn this habit of some people talking that sort of things and giving no arguments.  Angry
