"Looks like Meta is NGMI, as some might put it.

Meta’s head of commerce and financial technologies Stephane Kasriel posted on Twitter that the company will sunset its NFT and digital collectibles features on Instagram and Facebook.

This short-lived product only began testing with select Instagram creators last May, plus some Facebook users in June. By July, Meta expanded NFT support on Instagram for creators in 100 countries. Less than a year later, Meta is moving on from NFTs."

Cosmos is known for one simple thing; their amazingly simple to use SDK to build a brand new blockchain. Which to be fair doesn't even help them because people use Cosmos SDK and build their OWN blockchain, meaning it has nothing to do with cosmos, they are very helpful and they are getting many prays from people for making it that easy but financially speaking it is not really helping them at all.

This got them some marketing and got their name known so maybe that is a bit related, after all you do not need money exactly to grow, you could get some big help in marketing and that in return could cause investors, maybe that was their aim for the long term? I do not know.

The Defi platform can provide users with a secure platform for making blockchain-based transactions and smart contracts, as well as creating their own tokens.

Cosmos is one cyrpto coin developed on Defi.  Cosmos is such an attractive option for DeFi users with primary features as -
•   A Secure Platform for Smart Contracts
•   Creating Your Own Tokens
•   Staking Rewards & Automated Market Makers

With all these features available on one easy-to-use platform, it’s no wonder why so many investors are turning towards Cosmos as a way of getting involved in cryptocurrency investing.
Quote
•   Cosmos could reach a potential high of $29.55 by the end of 2023.
•   With a potential surge, ATOM could cross the $100 mark by the end of 2027.

Do you wish to hold ATOM or holding some already? Decoded the plausible ATOM price prediction for 2023 – 2025 and beyond in detail at Coinpedia.

Defi and NFT projects are 2 factors that make the market explode in 2021, now these 2 projects are dimming so they also affect market conditions, of course we have to be selective in investing money in these 2 projects, if they look less convincing then it's better to look for projects that have huge potential to skyrocket.

NFTs will provide access or ownership to unique items. These digital assets can play a huge role in solving the issues in the insurance sector, reducing all forms of fraud. They will also allow creators and artists to own their content and data. I think NFTs will become a new trend on Blockchain platform and will be a replacement for outdated and worthless Defi projects.

I think the meme trend is not suitable for the long term because it usually explodes at the beginning of the release but growth continues to decline due to the lack of utility of the token or the token is just a meme community token. The best DeFi in my opinion is those who really manage their investments on websites with long-term investments and the best NFTs are those who have the utity in their applications.

Donald Trump Releases NFTs of Himself As Superhero For $99
-snip-

Sorry bro, but now the sale is over, because the NFT offered already sold out, i think because there is no limit buy per users, and someone also guaranteed a Gala Dinner ticket if buying 45 pcs NFTs. But I don't have any information on where this NFT is available after distribution. Based on the FAQ, owners can re-sell his NFTs anywhere in the marketplace that supports Polygon Network.

"More than $100m worth of NFTs stolen since July 2021, data shows

More than $100m (£85m) worth of non-fungible tokens were stolen in the year to July, research shows, with criminals making off with an average of $300,000 per scam."

Since the boom in 2021, there have been several allegations of NFT frauds, especially involving pump-and-dump schemes and NFT security in cryptocurrency wallets. The long-term viability of NFT is significantly influenced by the metaverse; in the next five years, it is anticipated that there will be 40 million NFT transactions worldwide.

According to an analysis by Juniper Research, over the next five years, the number of nonfungible token (NFT)-related transactions will rise from 24 million in 2022 to around 40 million in 2027.

The value of art is subjective indeed, but the fact that one like this sold for so much certainly shows the potential of the art form, digital representing the physical (even if many think it was way overpriced!).

Hey zasad@ !

How are you ?

I just discovered your thread and I must say you have well anticipated this wave of nft which has just hit the planet Wink

By the way, did you know that the person who bought Beeple's nft for $ 69m went through the Bitcointalk forum a few years ago? He talks about it in this interview: https://youtu.be/_2Atnp4A6zI?t=416.

I do not invest in art, but I am interested in projects that deal with NTF tokens.
There are now layer 2 solutions on Ethereum that make it very cheap to create NTF tokens, and most modern blockchains want to support NTF tokens.
But I still don't understand what people think when they buy an NTF token for $ 69 million.

The money pouring in NFT is really overwhelming. They also beat a lot of old paintings with such high price tag. If you are an art collector, are you willing to spend your money in this NFT art rather than real painting of a known artist? I would go for the latter. We know for sure, actual paintings increase their value thru time. However, with NFT, are we sure that they will be that valuable in the future, especially when everyone wants to get into this business?

I have to admit I ask myself a lot of questions about this, too.

I have come to the conclusion that people are mostly buying a technological novelty, often driven by speculation on top of that Roll Eyes.
I think Nft will last in time but the period in which we find ourselves is still one of euphoria and excesses.

I suspected that the nft would explode but not at this point.  Shocked

That has become a norm in the crypto space for a while now. People just wait patiently to learn about the next trend and then start creating dozens of shitcoin projects while polluting the market with new influx of tokens that would hardly get any value aside from the hyped one. But eventually, you get to know which projects will stand the test of time.

Yep, i was hearing 'nft is the next big thing' since last summer  Roll Eyes

To talk a bit more about this 69m$ purchase : beeple is the nft artist, and buyer is known as 'Metakovan'. As stated in video, this person launched 'B20' currency, you can find it on Coingecko. No doubt he found a way to make people talk about nft AND make it's 69m$ purchase profitable  Roll Eyes

I'm not saying it's bad, too me it's 3.0 marketing  Cheesy And best part is... it works ! I'm french and i just saw this story on tv tonight, on the news !

I will have to check out that video. I've been hearing and reading about Beeple in the news in the last couple of days. It's been mentioned one too many times already.
DeFi is good for make good profit, But also high riak to lost money in DeFi. We can see too much scam project in DeFi, Some of them is ready hard to mark as a scam. If anyone trapped by them after researching, Then he can lost his confidence. Scammer using DeFi project a lot for scamming, They just create a project without team, Then they start scamming. I am not saying DeFi means scam, I am saying DeFi is good but we are losting our confidence for some scam project.
