Then why not attack it instead of monero? What is your reason for attacking monero and refusing to allow devs to fix your exploit?

Hey,

They're the ones saying it's not possible.

So nothing to worry about right?

~BCX~

Actually, I believe it was the Cryptonote/Bytecoin team that said it was impossible. Everyone else pretty much acknowledged a TW attack may be possible.

~BCX~

No,

I believe your persistence merits that at least you believe you have an exploit.

In their position, what could you say? They have nothing of substance to be worried of an exploit. "Prove there are not unicorns"

I believe at least you think you have a unicorn, and I'm worried there just might be a unicorn. In case there is, can you please, please, tell the devs so they can make sure we catch the unicorn?

Yep I agree, this is an awesome coin.

~BCX~

This was in the NEOS thread.  Maybe we should all dump XMR and buy NEOS, another anon coin.  Mass market cap exodus from XMR into a $166K cap coin...man, that could run the price up.

I guess your sarcasm detection was set to zero.

This coin is so absurd I thought it would be obvious.

~BCX~

My sarcasm meter was, indeed, set to zero.  I did think you were endorsing.

I was also being sarcastic, although I'd suspect that somebody would have to have some knowledge of my post history to know it.  I certainly don't blame you for missing that.

EDIT: hell, I suppose I should thank you for clarifying, just in case I was about to get victimized in a pump'n'dump

It really is an awful coin.

Coin itself is fine. Too many Monero threads.

That's what I don't get though. Why not just attack the obvious scamcoins?

Coincidentally timed near the release of their hyped up V2 wallet.

I just put in random numbers close to those block ranges.  Once in the range between 192298 and 192358, and once in the lower range.  I'm pretty confident given the 60 second target time between blocks that this can be repeated throughout the blockchain.

That doesn't mean there isn't some sort of attack underway ... I have no clue.  I'm just pointing out that the anomalies that BCX pointed out aren't anything extraordinary.

I do believe this is called back peddling.

Back peddling from what, exactly?  And why do you ignore tough questions?

Price hasn't moved. I think to get any effect this time BCX needs more than just ominous words.

No cheap coins for BCX now without some real evidence.

Newsflash newbie,

I do not nor have I ever cared what the price is doing.

~BCX~

Newsflash wanker,

You have not shown any evidence you are mounting a successful attack.

Just more words to drop the price again, but I think this time it wont work.

How can we be sure that the close block time is not from TW attack? Will dev's recent work mitigate the attack?

Yesterday I did notice a few times, when looking at it, that my miner software was reporting periods where blocks were being found ad little as 15 seconds apart some times 3-4 in a row.  I thought it was odd at the time, now after BCXs last post maybe it was more than just odd.. I guess we shall see.

I would look at recent blocks (235525,235526) (235532,235533) (235542,235543)

Coincidence, I think not.

If I were the guessing type, I would call this symptoms of an "Anonymint inspired modified ArtForz Time Warp Attack"

Just an observational opinion from a casual observer LOL

~BCX~

And (192298, 192299), (192326,192327), (192357, 192358) ... diabolical ... you've been at this for weeks!!

Edit:  Months even!  (122604, 122605), (122614, 122615) - what's up with THAT?  You sneaky devil.

Would those blocks just happen to coincide with when BCX first came out on here and said there was a potential exploit a couple months back now?

I guess it's the weekend and you're bored... both you and BCX come out of the woodwork and start spouting more shit.

Just when things had calmed down in here.

Interesting.

Why are you doing this? You say forced evolution, but can't you just relay the exploit information to the devs? You are trying to kill a project that many people care about, and has only good intentions for all, (private, instantaneous transactions).

I make a plea to you to stop your TW and play the good fight.

yes you do have to wonder why some trolls go for the throat, while others are quite happy to explain themselves.
