Very deceiving title, these are the Coincraft A1 clones that have sprouted in almost every other thread.

Between Dragon 1T, Lightning, JT Miner I can't tell the difference.

In China these sell for like $2500-$3000, yet all these sellers try to upsell in the EU and NA for like $4k-$5k.

Can't trust any of these dudes...

Correct buddie - this thread is very out of date - have marked for delete

don't buy from asiabtc (Jack Lao).  some of you might have gotten stuff from him before but my experience is terrible.

I pm'd him for 10x scrypt miners and he sent payment info quickly for dhl express shipment.  I paid via payapl over 2830 bucks and had to email multiple times to ask for confirmation of payment.  Only one email saying staff will track it.  Nothing for the next 5 days, I email and pm'd him and no response (even though he was active on both litecointalk.org and here).  Finally had to open dispute on paypal and try to get my money back...  still no reply...

what a pain.

I dont know if this coincidence (same nickname) but asiabtc is from my country (Indonesia)...

This guy  is notorious for failed group buys. If you look in the "Group Buy" section you will see. Also, using two separate accounts with almost identical usernames, makes this even more shadey looking.

Well for starters this is not an Avalon. It's a clone a best, but even Avalon (Avalon-ASIC.com) at best will have a 40nm chip (which comes out next month). It's also huge in size!

Hi folks

sorry for the mis type in the title

I have now secured a batch for shipping on the 25th of Feb, most are local orders but if anyone wants one then I can sort out for them.

Other than that I beat all prices from other factorys I don't mark up any of my prices either.

I am simply a resller please don't complain to me about this product I just simply let you know I can get these imported  Cool

Yes it's a lot of money but some people pay for this speed

Don't complain to you?   That's the funniest thing I've read today!

Start GB with 1yr old account with 7 posts?
Reply to your own GB from a different account?
Sell something for far too much money that oh btw NOBODY has right now?
Catch an attitude before you even have one customer?
Very low probability that anyone crazy enough to actually give you money ever sees anything?

Sounds like a groupbuy on BCT to me!

No, they are using  Bitmine CoinCraft A1 28nm chips, not ours.

TH/s grade machines based on Avalon gen3 chips will come out shortly but not now. Smiley
Any info doc on Avalon gen 3 chips?
If We have some more technical details.
We would be able to start designing mining board.

what a stupid case, totally waste of space

they could have made it a bit longer,
and put both psus on the side

or just use a freakin server psu... gosh

...and make the psu hot swappable.

this. Have 2  hot-swap bays for common 600-800W server power supplies.

No thanks. I'll be taking a PASS on Avalon Gen3 given the Gen1 chip debacle!

If the cost for these is 9.5 BTC, as posted in the other thread, assuming you start mining with it right now (which you can't, so I'm being generous), this will only generate 6.88 BTC in the first year, according to the genesis block.

Even if you calculate it in fiat, at current prices, you've lost money.

BTC would need to go back up to $1k for you to make any money, if you pay in fiat. BTC is a loss.

It sounds nice, to be able to mine at 1 TH, but at this point, it makes no actual sense to spend the $$ or the BTC.

Definitely true! Buying of this rigs pointless..

Title says "Avalon 28nm"... Avalon are not making any 28nm chips at this stage.

yeah.. these are starting to pop up all over now and dont appear to even begin shipping until mid-March..

I think Jack Lao (the big gridseed vendor) first posted something about them... PM'd me the cost would be $6550 USD if I wanted to preorder one from his end which now looks inflated by 1k USD

LA1THS, USD6650 Include DHL express.
thanks.
Jack.
