Gambling is very enticing, and tempting. Thinking of gambling will automaticfally reach out for our greed. The wants to win money or profit in a little to no effort. Even if the indicator tells us that we will be more likely to lose than to win, we often ignore it. So it is the winning and a bonus of entertainment that makes us to play gambling game even if we often lose.
There is one reason for this. The fallacy of eventually winning the game. People have this belief that if ever they keep on losing, one day they will win which is actually not true. yes in gambling win your bet also a problem and lose your bet also the problem you can not control your play. If you win you will play to make more profit, suppose if you lose you will play again to get back your loss. You are right this aims and hopes will really pushes us to play again for tommorow or on another time.We do always have hopes on making money on another strategy but we do all know most of them dont work at all specially on the longer runs.We should really chase up our loses or longing/hoping to hit the jackpot or win big money because these motives will always push us to play.

Well it is something that human nature forces us to do. When we lose we experience emotions that makes us depressed but these emotions only lasts until you get more money for gambling. Then all the rules you set for yourself will be nullified and gone.
Your brain wants more dopamine. Your brain NEEDS dopamine, and in bigger and bigger amounts each time you gamble.
Gambling releases dopamine and that's why you keep gambling. It's a drug addiction frankly.
We still gamble because we enjoy the fun and lucky profit with gambling but still if we loss in the game, the excitement could not be paid by any material things. The moment your play the game of chance in gambling the new world is opened for each and everyone and it really brought without satisfaction, but sometimes leads to addiction if being abused.
Many people who are addicted to gambling cannot stop because they are so deep into it they win and love that feeling and when they lose they lose big and they keep thinking that they could win it back and they get stuck in a big circle which they cannot leave.That is right,people are greedy thinking that they can still win back their losses which is really impossible. First, I played gambling because I'm having fun but eventually I did not notice that I'm already addicted to the gambling. Sometimes I win but most of the time I lose. 
Since you are relatively new to gambling I advice you to consult someone either in your family or your friends and if none then a psychologist so that they can take immediate steps and control you mate. You don't know how destructive gambling can be, I have seen cases where people had big houses, cars and all and now they are working hard to even survive all because of gambling. I think people gamble mostly for the fun and entertainment; the thrill of winning and losing.
Because we are greedy, we want to earn fast money and enjoy life and sex like Dan Bilzerian, but the reality is not like this, we have to work, not gamble.
That's what human nature is all about. To be better than others, to have more than others, to be envied. People can pick different routes to achieve it. Some are workaholics, some are thieves, some are gamblers, but in the end it all comes to this.
This is what i heard for those who are addicted gambler they are just gamble for fun that they can not experience outside or in their home.
Even they are losing and become a greedy while they are gamble they will still comeback to gamble again just to get a lots of profit that honestly its impossible unless if you are lucky..
