What about my pond inside the PAWN?

if you mean the coins in your old wallet? These are safe: the blockchain continued, but with a different wallet. as soon as you have the new wallet, replace the old installation with new installation, and you will have both your new and old coins!

I hope the devs will give a good noob friendly instructions for this!
if I'm around I'm willing to assist as well..
http://pawn.nation-wars.com           http://pwn.mining-man.com        There are tens of thousands of PAWN

You can withdraw from my pool without problem. but no need a wallet to see them. this will by fixed by the devs, with release of new windows wallet.
Mining-man is closing the pool (see earlier topics) and this might be a problem if you still have coins there.

Contact me otherwise right now on the pool irc: freenode #war-mining and I will help you on how to coins out of my pool..

Why the purse still stays on the 8021 block?

there is only a source released sofar.. Meaning the windows wallet is an 'old' wallet.
You have to compile your own purse or wait a bit longer to see your coins in your purse.

I can compile only linux wallets, no windows-qt wallets.. Wait for the devs to compile a new windows wallet..

Your coins are however safe in the network chain, nothing to worry about.. (make a good backup of your wallet.dat however!)

It was a great pool, I had less reject and the block founding was below the 100%. They are closing the pool tomorrow, I hope they update the source today so I can get my coins. Now I'am mining at nations-wars, the only pool who was responding and directly installing the new block chain Smiley But personally the stats of block finding are not that high as with mining man, dont know where the server is, thought mining-man in Europe and nations-wars in America?

Nation-wars is in Europe (IX-AMS). Our stats are kind of bad at the moment because we were one of two pools that started with final update of coin.
Difficulty started at almost zero. at we had like 8 MH/s of haspower.

Only 1 share was needed to find a block, but 16 submitted for several blocks.. this levelled out but we hade quit a buch of blocks at 1500% (still found within seconds) due to extreme low difficulty. This harms the stats at our moment (new blocks have to compensate for thos few big high percentages.

Our stats where much better with the old wallet, but this will improve over time now..
Hope this does make a bit sense.

Thanks for the update and explanation. That makes sense:). I keep mining with Nation-Wars because of you good service yesterday with the problems, you directly updated and responded immediately.
Let the whole community make this coins to a big succes.

I already sent an email to Mining-man, maybe there's something we can do for them in order to keep the pool running.

IDK,  I personally emailed all the pools yesterday and only 4 pools responded. I think we just have to work closer with the pool operators that are dedicated to pawncoin. Why do you prefer mining-man?

Dev's

in order to keep this coin moving, and leave the terrible block 8021 behind us, please inform the following sites about new wallet and update OP:

1. cryptoblox block explorer is on old wallet/chain
2. http://sancrypto.info/index/show/PAWN/  is using old chain/wallet
3. Update the pool list with pools on new wallet

1 and 2 was contacted yesterday but still no reply. We need a second block explorer.

Maybe a stupid question to the Pawn-Dev-team Smiley  (Or someone else who knows the answer)

Why is the wallet not compiled on the latest version 0.9.0?  and kind of like bitcoin so you could install it? Any reasons? Is it because op POW/POS or is it harder to compile?

Hope you had some sleep last night, keep up the good work guys!

Regards,

Alex

There's a compiled wallet but based on different source code. The new source code include the patch for KGW exploit. I'm sure you noticed that most exchanges are taking KGW coins offline until their devs fixed the KGW exploit.

Yes I noticed, just wanted to know why some use the older versions and not the 0.9. thanks for the answer and as I already said, Keep up the good work!

Nethashrate = back to normal:) 180 mhs! Grin

Pawncoin is a very promising coin.

I meant it in the postive way! I am also mining at the coin and promothing with my friends. Because of the problems the hashrate was almost 0 but now the problems are solved we are back on the same MHS like yesterday so thats very great in that very short time back to normal!
