DAMNED! Windows compile problem again.

Linux users may try wallet 9.3 it's uploaded to github.

However this's unofficial cause it does not compile on Windows.

9.3 enables TLS 1.2 encrypted connections with protocol compression (it's 22% faster). snoop-proof, block-proof. TOR not needed (tor is not capable of handling all of Bitcoin traffic, and we don't need tor anymore).

Wait for official announcement for full details.

Version 9.3 has been tested. It works great so far!

Version 9.4 (RC) will be also released at the same time for alpha testing.

These are protocol changes; 9.3 will be backwards compatible with the older protocol, but the protocol exclusive features will only be available via 9.4 (or when the 9.3 version connect to the 9.4 version of the wallet).

The OP says a new wallet will be released minimum of 41000 blocks before the expiry of the current wallet. Will the 9.3 and 9.4 versions be released before then?

Yes, but 9.4 will be released as alpha. The expiry will be same as 9.3.

The reason why 9.4 will be released as alpha is because you wont be able to use 9.3 features without it. So it'll be used as a demo and will not be explicitly available for download (the link will be hidden somewhere in the explanation text).

9.4 will be 50% compatible. But if you're using the stable releases, you'll never notice a difference between incompatible protocol versions. The protocol will be migrated to the new one without a single refused connection or fork using ABF.

Name to random address resolution (pay-to address anonymity)

Bitcoins/Altcoins -- "Send coins to BZuh2LnvFazZUoGPK6ogfVpssQhwfUhqkU -- all transactions to the address are known"
BIGcoin -- "Send coins to random.hardforkcoin.org -- But the underlying address the coins are sent to is not know -- transactions cant be tracked!"

BIGcoin allows a receiver to specify multiple addresses for a single name; and off all those addresses one will be randomly chosen.

This allows a receiver to distribute his/her wealth to prevent someone finding out his/her total balance.

Still better, the receiver can change his/her BIGcoin address for every query and have a TTL value of 0 for the DNS response packets. This allows the receiver to to hide his/her receiving address. This is not something that Coinjoin (Darkcoin), ring signatures (Bytecoin, Monero) take care of, i.e.once you know the ownership of an address, you can trace how much money was transfered to it. But if you've used an underlying DNS resolution like with BIGcoin, the money sent to someone cannot be determined; neither can the ownership.

Apart from this, it improves security also. You can regularly move these receiving addresses to a offline cold wallet since you wont be receiving payments to the old addresses now (because the address that the name resolves to has now changed).

Now on how to get such an address.

This --
BIGcoin:;

Is called an 'address block'; you may specify multiple addresses in the following format --
BIGcoin:::::;

Remember to add the semicolon towards the end.

Each address block in a single TXT record is parsed; if there are multiple TXT records, all are parsed for every address block and added to a pool of possible addresses, after which one of the address is used.

Prices are cheap. Opportunity is ripe.

A BIG feature is coming up in a few days. Don't complaint if you miss the train.

from the looks of the two exchanges you have listed market history shows youve sold less than 0.01 BTC worth of your coin in total...lol. looks like we are all missing the train Smiley

Ok then, it's your choice.

I'm saying this now cause later on people fret and all. So I'll simply quote this.

Alcurex.org - This exchange has been growing slowly over the past few months and just keeps getting better. Contact Halibit here on the forum or go on the site and talk to him in the chat box

According to him the wallet has a 'virus'.

So he refused.

But I have now wallet on server and all fine with that. No virus at all.

We just open HUGE market on alcurEX.
