Version 5 of the wallet has been released.

The difficulty retarget algo has been improved. It'll trigger after block 170000 which'll also expire all version 4.x wallets.

Will the Github issues be resolved? I'm on linux, thanks.

I've uploaded the source to Google docs.

4.1 coming up.

This'll just add cosmetic changes. Instead of just stopping and refusing to start abruptly, it'll show an error message.

This wont increase expiry block, so update or not at your choice.

We appear to have found the the right difficulty retarget algo. This will be the most responsive difficulty retarget till date providing quick recovery against multipools and still preventing an instamine.

But we'll probably increase the block interval cause the algo is not perfect in maintaining the block intervel.

The new algo seems to be working well.

But looking at the data, there seems to be possibility of improvement.

so now only solo mining with your asic? oh man ,
why not creat a pool by yourself but waiting other's help? really confused

Blake algo, not SHA or Scrypt.

Yes, people don't want to download the wallet and solo mine. We'll setup a pool when one of us gets time.

All version 3.x wallets are now offline.

Although there's a hardfork, the chain has not been forked by not even a single block.

Currently our top priority is the difficulty retarget algo.

Version 5 will be up in a few days.
