I run a private blockexplorer and its running fine with the 1.4 wallet not sure about mining though.  I do see the PoW blocks rolling in so someone has it working.  I believe its this pool http://pool.miner-control.de/ belongs to SpAcEDeViL, but im not 100% sure since the block details are listed on the site.

What type of errors and issues are you having ?

The language barrier between the Devs and the english speaking community makes getting things fixed so difficult google translate can only do so much.

I google translated the German post and something about running the pool with merge mining disabled would/did fix i think not really sure.

blockexplorer is not up to date ?

No, it sync very slow. Please have a look at the bottom right corner. There you can se the blockhight.
At this time we build a bootstrap.dat to speed up blockchainsync.

So does a "reload of the blockchain" mean syncing the blockchain from scratch?  It's a pretty large & old chain.  Has anyone successfully synced it, so I can update it on the site?

Yeah gotta reload from scratch.  I updated to 1.4 a few days ago just to be ready and I amm currently fully sync'd.  Took me about ~12 hours but at the time there were 35+ nodes to sync from.  Right now i have 17 active connections.

I believe the block explorer needs to be resync'd too, they should also rebuild the database for it too.  Will take a while but def needs it.

PoW difficulty is pretty low
PoS Highest i ever seen

Nice update! thanks for translation Rumhocker.

Its interesting when I read the German update the word "außerordentliches" it made me think of "exceptionally decent" or "exceptionally respectable". I'm sure that is exactly it.  Smiley

If you sent a deposit from a wallet you directly control (your running eMark-qt or eMarkd on your computer) and your deposit never made it to an exchange or webwallet because the transaction was mined into an orphaned block you can recover those coins.

I had some deposits that went missing but all I had to do was run
Code:
./eMark-qt -rescan
.

Since the transactions were orphaned coins were never actually transferred from your wallet to the exchanges wallet.  When you run with -rescan the wallet sees the transaction was never actually mined into the blockchain and the coins are spendable again.  I was able to recover ~1000 DEM.

The only real way I lost coins was withdrawals from wallets that weren't directly in control by me for example mining pool, exchange, and web wallets.  If those withdrawals were mined into orphaned blocks the coins are still available but the exchange/wallet provider would have to run the coin daemon with -rescan to get all those "lost" withdrawals back then apply credit to the accounts. Just keep in mind because of the orphaned blocks its highly likely the exchanges took losses on deposits that never actually made it to the exchanges deposit wallet and were instantly sold for BTC.
