This is not surprising. Bitcoin has performed well in the crisis and besides, people are now sitting at home.

Because of the lockdown, people looked for something lucrative and that's one thing that they have resorted with. And that is to look for bitcoin "courses".

They've heard of bitcoin before and about it's all time high rates but this lockdown forced them to know more about it. I like the exposure that bitcoin is getting these days and even the time when this pandemic is gone, exposure and recognizing will increase.

Yup, even before now I was already expecting a surge in that area of education, because there was starting to be an increase in the demand for Blockchain engineers. A report by LinkedIn showed that a lot of companies these days are searching engineers that are good in Blockchain.

So, when there is an increase in the demand for that, people will be driven to learn about Blockchain so that they can be able to get a job that is related with Blockchain. And just like you have said, once Blockchain starts Trending, the attention of people will also be drawn to bitcoin. So, this is very good.

I think this is one bright side when people are in total lockdown and their attention goes to bitcoin and learning it. This is a good indication that bitcoin could explode in the next coming months and everything related to it, (blockchain, technical analysis courses etc).
The situation is not limited to BTCitcoin but certain universities are providing online courses during this lock down period and you can get certification and this is the best time for everyone to learn new things as everyone have a lot of time on their hand to learn new things but this does not mean that BTCitcoin could explode in the coming months because it all depends upon the economic situation after an extensive lock down which will not be great.

There is trouble abrewing
apart from the obvious reason of people being stuck at home and having a lot of time at hand, the other reason is that bitcoin is performing well despite the drop that we had weeks ago. other markets are still struggling and dumping, some of them hard, but bitcoin had the drop weeks ago and has been rising ever since. we are even up nearly 80% from the bottom of the price that was reached. that is 80% pure profit for anyone who entered there considering these days there isn't any market to make profit from.

Remember: demand for online courses =/= BTC demand and moon and lambos. Also, interesting how there are no changes on Google trends:
https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%201-m&q=BITCOIN and https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%201-m&q=cryptocurrency
I mean, I would expect to see at least a small increase in those charts if such big sites like Coursera and Udemy are "reporting" a massive increase in interest around BTC and cryptocurrency.

Honestly, I would advise people take this "news" with a grain of salt. The whole article is based on "someone said" and "they told us", I would've loved to see the actual sources mentioning this increase in demand, it would've made those insane numbers (300%, 200%) look a bit more legit.

Btw, a bit funny how for some odd reason the author included the opinion of an unknown photographer (probably to give him some publicity?). And what's with that final part about coronavirus and 5G? Was it necessary? Looks a bit out of place to me. Such a weird acticle.

Nothing lasts forever
Good to know that people are specifically interested in bitcoin courses rather than being interested in blockchain courses first.
I thought people are only wasting their time on the internet in this pandemic because many people in my country are only wasting their time on social media playing games and making videos. Good to know that there are people who are interested in learning as well.

Yes OP is right that new adoption rate can take place in crypto space in the coming months but believe me many still fears the technology because if scammers, some people don't even want to take risks at all

I see 2 reasons with why the demand increased.
1. Boredom - they want to spend their time since most of the countries right are in a lockdown and they can't go out to their houses so they want to spend their time and they want to read online courses regarding Bitcoin.
2. Curiosity - since most of the people have so much time browsing the internet, they might see the word Bitcoin or anything related to it as they are browsing and they've decided to make some research of it and aside from that they also purchased Bitcoin online courses.
The curiosity alone may be the reason why the demand increased by now. People are on their home taking their time to self isolate, most probably holding their phone scrolling to their feeds, sees about cryptocurrency which is very abundant in advertisements and gets curious about it. They are about to realize how important the crypto is in the future days. This is a another chance for every one to grab this opportunity and start earning even at home. I can't take this coz I suck at teaching lol

This can help also the spread of information regarding Bitcoin and crypto in general as more and more people want to learn about it. This can be a great sign for crypto world. Maybe this can help too in its price since some if not all of them will try to invest on it since they are already interested.
The main purpose is to educate so obviously people will learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain. A really good impact for crypto will be felt soon.

Even before the pandemic crisis there are a lot of online class, and online platform that is supporting the course of learning about the bitcoin and all of the things included into cryptocurrency, and today it is quite good because now we can make a lot of time to make study while we are on quarantine because of these online courses I know in udemy you need to pay some of their bonus courses that is deeply learning on the specific course still you need to do that to explore more and if you don't want to pay is there are some sources does not require payment transactions.

As long as the online courses are free, I am sure that it will attract many people to learn. People can learn bitcoin from many sources, and yes, with the online courses about bitcoin will help them to know what they need before they invest in the cryptocurrency. Maybe they need some time to understand the process, but it won't take too long if they can start after they finish the basic lesson of bitcoin. The exploding of the new user will happen soon when many online courses give the same thing, and that will be available in every country.

There is gold in volatility..
Demand for Bitcoin online courses explodes by 300%

Quote
In brief:

    - Online learning platforms are seeing a huge surge of interest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency courses.
    - Udemy has seen a quadrupling of demand for Bitcoin-based classes.
    - More people are turning to online education generally.

I think this is one bright side when people are in total lockdown and their attention goes to bitcoin and learning it. This is a good indication that bitcoin could explode in the next coming months and everything related to it, (blockchain, technical analysis courses etc).

There is an economic analysis to this trend.

1. The coronavirus pandemic has caused a global recession which translates to financial crisis.
2. It has led to the loss of employment, source of livelihood gone.
3. People and businesses are trying to pivot in such a way that is sustainable.

One of skills to learn and earn this time is crypto trading. This is why there is a surge in the price of crypto courses.

Recently I told a friend of mine that, online courses will have a bigger hit this time and he told me that, he's not sure but few weeks into the lockdown he called me that he has more orders than year now. This is just a confirmation of what he told me and am very happy to see this happening at this time of the year(Bitcoin Halving). With this ongoing, there is a possibility of the community to have a huge adoption after this pandemic and new investors are much likely to be see with the community again, like in 2017.
After the end of this pandemic many people will think of creative ways to invest their money and time and online courses and bitcoin are one of the best options out there. The old and traditional ways are now outsmarted by the technology and now anyone can learn new things with the use of courses that are available online.
I also used to go to offline classes for some extra activities that I was interested in but now I have to watch the online classes only due to the pandemic.

Aside from learning and investing in crypto, they will find later on that there are a lot of ways on how to earn crypto especially if they happen to stumble here in the forum. If they will browse the services section alone, they will get the idea on how to earn crypto if they have set of skills like in programming/coding, design, or just participate in bounty programs. And going around in this forum will already give you tons of knowledge and information that you can't get from any crypto website.

But seeing the demand for bitcoin online courses go up, it means at least some of them will be crypto users very soon. More crypto users, more demand, hence, in the near future, contributing in the increase of bitcoin in the market.

It could be they are already learning the bitcoin trading because its what mostly would do when they are investing in BTC. Coders had wide range of industry to look at not just in crypto but its also up to the kind of programming language they are skilled the most. Solidity isn't widely taught in the classroom but I can see there is solidity programming for ETH course.

There are a few ways through which you can engage yourself in this lockdown phase due to pandemic. I didn't have doubt that people more engaging in the internet while having self-isolation. All online courses are possible their habits now just like my neighborhood, she spends too much time now on her career of being an online tutorial.

Since Bitcoin is very common online and well known that you may earn money with this, probably this is normal now that the demand for Bitcoin online will increase and explode. But they should know also their safety because as of now also there are a lot of scammers hoping for easy money. So, probably during lockdown people are bored and need to explore especially when it comes to technology they are always curious.

this is good news. I'm pretty sure lockdown will make people pay attention to bitcoin for their business. because of that, I think a course to learn about crypto is a pretty good thing. in addition, I also feel that the demand for bitcoin will increase in the following months. this will have an effect even when the lockdown has expired.
