Understood Phil. I will say that I did pay less than the de minimis for avoiding the tariff, but the invoice was (blank).

Interesting. I know the invoice attached to my M10 was ... ? ...  what I paid. I think you can infer what they may be interested in knowing.

I deleted your post for some  reasons I rather not mention.

I then quoted it with an alteration in bold/blue  All to protect you as that info about your purchase does not need to be revealed on this website.

I can clearly state in my case all m10's I purchased after the trump tax was started were sold to me for under 800 usd a piece as I actually paid under 800 usd each.

They were ordered more the 1 week apart one at a time so I truly avoided the trump tax legally.

I can also say I did not ask pangolin to do Huh  about the m20 v1 72th 3312 watt demo unit.

To be more  clear about this please refer to this song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdhAfMor9BM

this is what I know and think about the trump tax on the m20 v1 demo purchase that I made.

BTW  she (Doris Day) is still alive at 96 soon to turn 97 on April 3rd.

I was contacted from pangolin today they want me to notify and describe customs to USA when it comes. They want to know the exact amounts charged to me. If any is charged at all. Not counting on beating the trump tax on this one but we shall see in about 49 days.

I just looked at this M10S product page,
and I had a good look at the psu power receptable.

Please forget what I said in the earlier post.

It is actually a very wise choice if they use a IEC C20 receptable (which takes in a IEC C19 power cord),
just like they used with the M10S model.

C19 - C20 couple has a maximum current rating of 16 Amps (IEC standard, international).

Where as C13 - C14 is only 10 Amps.

For reference,

I have the same unit on order for the May 20th Demo release. I was originally going to grab a 48TH unit, but ran out of time securing more coins for the order. Really depleted myself with the M10 orders. Thankfully I was able to secure this last night.

Due to past dealing with Pangolin, I'm not worried about the timing on the pre-orders. Definitely going against my no batch 1 order rule of the past, but it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up looking into the summer months. I do believe these will be delivered on spec.

My only real worry comes down to leveraging nearly 44% of my hashrate on 1 machine. This machine will never make it into the house for my winter mining down the road, but it will do just fine in my garage year round.

For me I run steadily at or above 240V, in full power mode I will be 13.8 amps. I'm not sure if I will upgrade the circuit to 30 amps just to be safe or not. This will be the only machine on the circuit, so even at +10% I'm under 16 Amps steady load. I should have everything in place to do a proper power draw reading as well, so if needed I'll know I need to change things up.

Good find on the cables, I was just going to wait to hear from Pangolin for more detailed specs so I can be sure I'm ready.

Yeah I am not looking to get more then one for now.

I want to be sure the 3312 watts is manageable up in Clifton.  We could run it at buysolars smaller array Since the longer days are around  and he will be moving 3x l3 +'s to Clifton   that's 2100 watts  so a net plus of 1200 watts and a grand total of 3312 + 1200 = 4500 watts at the lessor array.

this is a costly unit 2048 and maybe 500 trump tax = 2548 usd a lot more then I want to spend but I have heard the trump tax is going to drop to 10%  so maybe be more like 240 tax vs 500 tax.  I can live with that.  I rather run it at the local array for a month before I bring it up to clifton.

Then I can use this cable in red for "Danger"

I think it will follow earlier models and have a IEC C14 receptable, which takes in a cable with IEC C13 connector.

may be okay with a IEC C13  it is a 15 amp item.  Have to wait and see.

Of course a lower speed more efficient setting say 60  2400watts  fixes all issues.

I ordered the 72th gear with the hope it has 2 speeds.

72th 3312watts = 46 watts a th

60th 2400 watts= 40 watts a th

these 2 settings would be ideal

I don't know if it will be a c13 or c19  also don't know if they are going to go to stacked short tube  like the T15 and s15.

Info is lite here.  Specs and not much else

All my pdus  have 15 amp fused individual plugs

I suspect  it will need to power directly from the wall  which I don't like.

I have this cable   a 10 gauge I can unscrew the l6-30r  and add this

http://wattgate.com/products/320ihc/   that  will handle 16 to 20 amps

Or see what Stayonline dot com has for you. That link is to 6-15 cables but they also have 6-20 and custom ones. Great source for cables.

What is the PSU receptacle? IEC C13, 15, 19, 20, etc?? They do them all of course.

in Clifton we run around 229 volts  so 3312 / 229 = 14.46 amps  24/7/365  a 20 amp wire is derated to 16 amps so you need a 20 amp cable

a short run of 12 gauge will be okay  but close

10 gauge is no worry.

I may need to make cables  from this

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Power-Extension-Cord-15FT-L6-30P-L6-30R-10AWG-30Amp-200-250VAC-Black-10-3C/123699039492?

pull the l6-30r and swap in a c13 or c19

https://www.parts-express.com/wattgate-320i-hc-black-high-current-iec-ac-power-connector--110-444

this rates but I do not know what the socket will be to this item.

an l6-30p to >>> 10 gauge cable to the   c 19 above  costly cable to get a 20 amp rating.

How many amps do you think that miner will pull? maybe 15a rated wiring would be too close?

Wow, the 72Th/s one is a big piece of gear.

Will be interesting to see it in action.

yeah  I may end up  needing to rewire  Clifton  as I think the pdu's won't work with it.

these are well priced
