Really looking for this miner to arrive at your place.
Does someone know the maximum power delivery of the integrated PSU?

I would like to explore the overclocking capabilities of this miner

well at the moment it has working firmware for high speed.

low speed firmware is not done has a bug which will not allow the unit to turn on i do get good numbers 68 69 th

I installed power meter and will check it soon

it is 80-84 db

I have a kwatt meter it only does kwatts

I am at 2.02 kwatts if I check in 20 minutes it should read 3.12  that would be 1.1 in ⅓ of an hour or 3300 watts or 3.3 kwatts.

it does AROUND 68.5 TH

Well I'm glad there were no issues with getting gear in a timely fashion early in the year. This to me is more of a Pangolin customer service issue, I'm fairly confident that at least one person is receiving their miner before me that ordered or made arrangements after me. That's really my only issue with the M20s experience so far. I didn't have the option to spread out my gear purchases due to the 240v rating of many PSU'S. In the future it might just be worth the few extra dollars to use whatsminer for my orders.  We'll see how this turns out.

Wow. Glad to ear your has nearly arrived.
Apparently mine was bumped, their claim was that only part of their shipment cleared chinese customs. More than a little pissed, and will think long and hard before using Pangolin in the future.

At the moment my t17s are delayed.
My t3t 39th is in a mystery status. Maybe July maybe August.
The m20 arrives today about a 27 day delay.
And I am dealing with the one bad m10 so in general all my new gear has been a pita to get on time.

So a 20 amp breaker will be good enough for this miner?

no  my guess is you need a 240 volt 30 amp.

not a 240  20 amp.

we have seen a demo  of this gear pull 3417 watts.

depending on your voltage level   say 208 to 242   you will pull 16.42 amps to 14.12 amps.

a 20 amp breaker doing 16.42 amps  is not good for a 24/7/365 load.  it is just over the limit.

So yeah 1 unit in a cooler space you may do it.

but 5 units or 10 units or 20 units on a warm spot and you are in trouble.

time will tell how subject they are to this issue.  there are not any in the field with regular miners.

I really would have preferred them to use Bitmain's 2 plug design on the s17.

Edit HaggsFin is correct that 220 volts is good  just as I am correct that 208 volts will or may be short with a 20 amp fuse.

just got tracking!!!!!!

yeah baby!!!!!

I was talking about the cable wire gauge.

Answer to your question is that, with 220V voltage, yep.

I got my spare m10 psu   it is  dead.

Of my 8 m10s' I have the 1 shit one.  and the psu does only 11.97 volts.  it does run 3 boards on low okay but not on high.

So they sent a new one it came monday I hooked it up yesterday and it is fucking dead.  0.000 volts to the buss bars.  it does power the 2 fans and the controller.

So I now have a dead psu which was not cheap a slightly crippled m10.

and waiting on the m20s.

Yeah I was following them a bit on telegram and noticed they were taking a holiday for Friday, so I had already given up on this week. The last thing I received was an email asking to confirm information for customs, and that if I didn't respond within 48 hours they would use what they had on file. This was different from all other orders I had placed with them, so it made me wonder if they were shipping them differently, maybe direct from manufacturer.
Still I had no other choices really at the time, with the potential 240V hardcaps I've seen in the specs of other miners. Upside is I did get my spare parts to play with the M10 this weekend.

Well here is a perfect call.  My demo  was due to ship:

may10-20
then may 20
then  June 1
then  June 5

as of now it has yet to ship.  I am at least one of 3 people waiting on the demos  and no shipping info.

I never say don't order  from a company  until I am sure they are bad.

I do say  be careful with this gear and orders look like they will be further delayed.  Until I don't know when.

I am fortunate as I did acquire :

1 s17 pro 53th

I have 2 t17's on order
I have an innsilicon t3t 39th on order
I have some avalon a1041's coming.

So this delay while frustrating is not a death blow.

Please be careful buying from anyone as times are very interesting for getting new mining gear.

In the meantime

my
 s17
 s15
 s 9's
 t15

along with my 8 m10's  which is why I ordered my m20 demo

a921
a721
t2t 24th

all mine on.

So far in a world revolving around my dreams if I had my choice I would own all s17pro 53th gear.

I would love to see if the m20  is worthwhile  maybe next week.

4 month wait is risky. Almost identical pricing as S17 before coupons, while being less efficient. When they had a 3 month pre-order with the M3, prices were around 50% cheaper by the time they shipped and the cheaper batches shipped only a week or two after pre-order. I will wait until August and for Phil's review. I expect S17's coming online shortly will force these to become even cheaper.

WELL for now I will wait for the Demo  may 10 -20

Once it is setup I will be getting them   mostly due to the 68-70th at  3300 watts.  it is a big number  for 1 box.

I wonder if  the downclock  is  50th at 2000 watts

August date is tough  to buy a lot.

Trump tax =  500+  also a tough number to work with.

The trump tax really slowed hashrate growth.

One of these  is 2190 add 27.6%  and it is 2794.44 usd

does 70th at 3300 watts

5 s9's do 70 th at 7000 watts  cost = 900   vs 2794 a 1894 cash savings

power saved = 3700 watts  or 3.7 x 720 =

2664 kwatts a month at 10 cents  266.40 usd   7.10 months to make up  the purchase price with power savings
"         "        "    "      "    9  "       239.76 usd   7.89 months to make up   "        "          "      "      "         "
"         "        "    "      "    8  "       213.12 usd   8.88 months to make up   "        "          "      "      "         "
2664   "        "    "      "    7  "       186.48 usd   10.16 months to make up  "        "           "      "      "         "
"         "        "    "      "    6  "
"         "        "    "      "    5  "       133.20 Usd   14.21 months to make up the purchase price with power savings

I guess  from 7 to 10 cent power cost you could argue getting a few.

but once you have  5 4 or 3 cent power  you can still  wait a bit.

Interesting. I know the invoice attached to my M10 was ... ? ...  what I paid. I think you can infer what they may be interested in knowing.

I deleted your post for some  reasons I rather not mention.

I then quoted it with an alteration in bold/blue  All to protect you as that info about your purchase does not need to be revealed on this website.

I can clearly state in my case all m10's I purchased after the trump tax was started were sold to me for under 800 usd a piece as I actually paid under 800 usd each.

They were ordered more the 1 week apart one at a time so I truly avoided the trump tax legally.

I can also say I did not ask pangolin to do Huh  about the m20 v1 72th 3312 watt demo unit.

To be more  clear about this please refer to this song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdhAfMor9BM

this is what I know and think about the trump tax on the m20 v1 demo purchase that I made.

BTW  she (Doris Day) is still alive at 96 soon to turn 97 on April 3rd.

I just looked at this M10S product page,
and I had a good look at the psu power receptable.

Please forget what I said in the earlier post.

It is actually a very wise choice if they use a IEC C20 receptable (which takes in a IEC C19 power cord),
just like they used with the M10S model.

C19 - C20 couple has a maximum current rating of 16 Amps (IEC standard, international).

Where as C13 - C14 is only 10 Amps.

For reference,

I have the same unit on order for the May 20th Demo release. I was originally going to grab a 48TH unit, but ran out of time securing more coins for the order. Really depleted myself with the M10 orders. Thankfully I was able to secure this last night.

Due to past dealing with Pangolin, I'm not worried about the timing on the pre-orders. Definitely going against my no batch 1 order rule of the past, but it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up looking into the summer months. I do believe these will be delivered on spec.

My only real worry comes down to leveraging nearly 44% of my hashrate on 1 machine. This machine will never make it into the house for my winter mining down the road, but it will do just fine in my garage year round.

For me I run steadily at or above 240V, in full power mode I will be 13.8 amps. I'm not sure if I will upgrade the circuit to 30 amps just to be safe or not. This will be the only machine on the circuit, so even at +10% I'm under 16 Amps steady load. I should have everything in place to do a proper power draw reading as well, so if needed I'll know I need to change things up.

Good find on the cables, I was just going to wait to hear from Pangolin for more detailed specs so I can be sure I'm ready.

Yeah I am not looking to get more then one for now.

I want to be sure the 3312 watts is manageable up in Clifton.  We could run it at buysolars smaller array Since the longer days are around  and he will be moving 3x l3 +'s to Clifton   that's 2100 watts  so a net plus of 1200 watts and a grand total of 3312 + 1200 = 4500 watts at the lessor array.

this is a costly unit 2048 and maybe 500 trump tax = 2548 usd a lot more then I want to spend but I have heard the trump tax is going to drop to 10%  so maybe be more like 240 tax vs 500 tax.  I can live with that.  I rather run it at the local array for a month before I bring it up to clifton.

I think it will follow earlier models and have a IEC C14 receptable, which takes in a cable with IEC C13 connector.

may be okay with a IEC C13  it is a 15 amp item.  Have to wait and see.

Of course a lower speed more efficient setting say 60  2400watts  fixes all issues.

I ordered the 72th gear with the hope it has 2 speeds.

72th 3312watts = 46 watts a th

60th 2400 watts= 40 watts a th

these 2 settings would be ideal

I don't know if it will be a c13 or c19  also don't know if they are going to go to stacked short tube  like the T15 and s15.

Info is lite here.  Specs and not much else

All my pdus  have 15 amp fused individual plugs

I suspect  it will need to power directly from the wall  which I don't like.

I have this cable   a 10 gauge I can unscrew the l6-30r  and add this

in Clifton we run around 229 volts  so 3312 / 229 = 14.46 amps  24/7/365  a 20 amp wire is derated to 16 amps so you need a 20 amp cable

a short run of 12 gauge will be okay  but close

10 gauge is no worry.

I may need to make cables  from this

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Power-Extension-Cord-15FT-L6-30P-L6-30R-10AWG-30Amp-200-250VAC-Black-10-3C/123699039492?

pull the l6-30r and swap in a c13 or c19

https://www.parts-express.com/wattgate-320i-hc-black-high-current-iec-ac-power-connector--110-444

this rates but I do not know what the socket will be to this item.

an l6-30p to >>> 10 gauge cable to the   c 19 above  costly cable to get a 20 amp rating.

Is this the large M10S like unit? 72T or 46T? Can you post size dimensions as I'm now confused with the three M20 models... An independent review is always welcome.

It should be larger like the M10S and there are no dimensions for it as of now.

I am basing the preorder on the fact that they have sent me 7m10's and some m3's all on time.

Is this the large M10S like unit? 72T or 46T? Can you post size dimensions as I'm now confused with the three M20 models... An independent review is always welcome.

At yankees yeah it is a lot and 50 day wait time is 5 days past my limit for preorders.

But I am in a funny spot.  The Clifton build is power capped.

I have

 M10's      = 8
 S15        = 1
 T15        = 1
 t2turbo   = 1
A921       =  1

I want to move out all the gear below

 20 s9's    say  230th and  23000 watts
   2 721's  say    11th and   1500 watts
   2 s7ln    say     5th  and   1500 watts

this is 246th  and 26000 watts

8 new M20 v1 = 576 th and  26496

also will cost 8 x 2000 = 16000 + 4000 trump tax  and wait till July shipping  with no idea if the gear is good.

Getting the 1 demo  reduces risk to 2000 + 500 trump tax and gives me an idea if it is good gear.

It also gives people a chance to decide if they should do orders of these.

May 20th is a long wait for 2000 bucks but some risks need to be done.

Ideal is it comes a little early it works well. "we will see what we shall see."

I was allowed to order a M20 V1 from pangolinminer.
Due on may 20th

should do 72th and 3312 watts  or 46 watts a th

I paid in full  with no discount other then it is due to ship out to me before May 20th

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3ERrWbZnr6JxxHqXKGxeVW8deFe2NRcMB6

I will post info here when it comes.

Sound in db
Power drawn  could be an issue as my 30/24 amp pdus are fused at 15 amps per plug which may not work with a 3312 watt load.

Note this is not in speculation  because  It is staing I paid for the demo and show the payment to pangolin thus it is a fact.

It only means it is ordered and is due before may 20th.

Keep an eye peeled as these are costly items 2048 usd was paid by me today.

plus I may get trump tax of 520 or so making it a 2568 item.

Note to mods if you think it should be in speculation  it is cool by me.
