you must try using  trustwallet or imtoken, both applications bring up notifications if there are incoming or outgoing transactions including if you receive a token.
if you bother there is a telegram bot that can monitor all personal wallet transactions called "Eth token explorer" you can look for it in telegram search

I found this website: https://cryptocurrencyalerting.com/
I didn't use it personally but it has a bunch of nice features.
It supports Bitcoin, Ethereum and erc-20 tokens and will notify you whenever the address receives or send coins/tokens.
You can also select how to get notified (sms, email, phone call, telegram...)!
Has anyone used it before?

good idea to check your token on the site https://etherscan.io to use the android application I am afraid of a trojan/virus that makes our wallet insecure because, in my opinion, other applications from third parties are not 100% safe.

You can install the telegram bot @ETHtokenExplorer_bot and just turn on notifications in your telegram. This bot perfectly monitors all transactions that enter to your wallet or exit. I am using this bot for a long time and it works very well.

There are plenty of apps that can have a sort of timing for checking-up your address every minute or so and push notifications. Though, I don't see any reason why you want annoying notifications about any new token in your address.

I can't remember the telegram bot at the moment which I used long ago to monitor one of my addresses. You can check it by searching relevant username and you may find it. Or you can write a modified bot with telegram. That's not a hard job at all as far as I know.

I don't know if this exists yet I'm crypto space, sorry if my question sounds dumb or something, I'm trying to find an app that can give alert on my smartphone whenever a new token enters my ethereum address.... Is there such?
Yes, and for something like this I personally still use the ImToken application on my smart phone, because every time there is a transaction to my wallet, there is always a notification notification, both the notification of the entry of coins and the notification of sending coins to the exchange.
I also use the same application as you, because it is very easy to use and there will also be a notification if a token comes into our wallet.

There is a thread in Stack Exchange on how to get notified. Check this link: https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/31712/getting-notified-after-receiving-tokens
  • Registering at etherscan.io (just like what Tipstar said)
  • Using Dagger (track contracts, etc)
  • Cryptocurrency alerts

It's all in the link above, I think it could be useful to you OP. I think the easiest one is just to register at etherscan. There's just a limit of 100 emails per day but I think it's okay already unless a lot of people deposits tokens to you continuously, lol.

If you don't want to import your private key into a new wallet like trust then use the following service, all it requires is your wallet address, many coins are supported

Imtoken and trust wallets are some of the common wallets that support deposit and withdrawal notification on their apps and wallets and these notifications function extremely well and serve their purpose. Once you install and create or import your wallet, you can then chose to turn on the notification feature to monitor your transactions. Another good tool that does this effortlessly is the ETH Explorer bot on Telegram. Once you link your address(not private keys) to the Telegram bot, this bot then keeps track of your wallet on all incoming and outgoing transactions and report same back to you in form Telegram notification.

Yes it's possible but I think it will depend on the type of mobile wallet you are using. Trust wallet has that feature, which after creating the wallet you will be asked to enable the notification. In addition, Imtoken also have the feature which is enabled by default I think. So if the wallet you are using doesn't support such, you can import to any of Imtoken or Trust wallet. The notification makes everything easier.

I wouldn't suggest you signup for MEW or Trust Wallet to just getting notified of a transaction. There are many telegram bots which can do the job for you.

I use @MagnumNotifierBot for keeping track of my Bitcoin transactions. I don't use it to track Ethereum tokens but they do support a large number of Cryptos so I think it can help you.
If you are specifically looking for Ethereum tokens alone, you can use @ETHtokenExplorer_bot

You can sign up in Etherscan and enable email notification for you watch address, the address can be from anywhere even of other people and as soon as the address receive something you get a email. Trust wallet app can be enabled to send push notification on receiving known coins and ERC20 tokens to your trust wallet address.
