I might consider offering an Escrow service via my company, but I would need to check the legality of it.

What would you guys:

1. Consider as a fair charge?
2. Method to handle fees ?
3. Turnaround time?
4. Best way to identify parties involved incase they want to back-out a transaction before it is finalized.

I would be unlikely to offer it as a web service, but rather as a 1:1 personal service to ensure the security.

Yes I would provide  my Identity details to the parties involved, along with a means to validate the legality of the documents.

Don't assume that everyone is a scammer, but in case of doubt is always good policy to send small tranches, waiting each time for their payment before sending the next tranche. Any trader that don't accept you to use tranches shouldn't be trusted at all. Of course, a escrow can be a good solution too. You can always use bitmit.net or a trusted member of the forum.

Keep in mind people, even if you think you trust someone, they can just be building trust for the big heist, then disappear. Or they can be from a hacked account. Bitcoin needs escrow exchanges now.

Good money in that i bet.

Present evidence here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 and he might end up with a scammer tag.

If it makes you feel any better, someone swindled me for 16.80 BTC 2 days ago, derezzed got me for 50 LTC tonight, and there are also 2 more possible suspects tonight whom I am giving the benefit of the doubt at the moment.

I think we're one of those suspects hit me too, still waiting though.

No longer trust anyone , and I've been cheated 130ltc

Good noob.  I hope you've learned your lesson.  Stop trading BS alt's with real cryptos that are worth real money.

I hope losing over $500 usd had taught you something!

I feel bad, but it's a good lesson to learn. If you're trading real money for (still) play money, the still play money needs to be sent first.

As a rule, the guy who is sending the new crypto-currency should always send first, because in case of a scam all they have lost is some currency that has been around a few days. Sending Litecoin first was a bad idea.

This guy made $1000 in less than a day, kinda crazy. Send the more proven currency last, you have the upper hand because your currency is more trusted. If in doubt use escrow, plenty of people here with a large rep will act as escrow for you.

Thanks for the input, can you suggest how to go about finding an escrow on here

I know John over in the Bitcoin forums does escrow a lot, but not sure about here in the alternative currency forum. I would suggest make a thread asking for people to do escrow, the only person who I would trust off the top of my head is Sunny King but i'm not sure if he would be interested in escrow.

What the alternative forum needs is dedicated sub forums for trading and such, its all a giant forever mess in here with every single alternative currency being reduced to one forum. I don't think we need sub forums for each coin, that would be even worse, but we need a trading sub forum, a market place sub forum. I really don't like the mess here feels like we are all pigs that are in a pen.

If any of you have lost money really sorry guys, just research your fellows first. Beware of young accounts!!

Sorry I can't really help anymore. Sad

He's taken 150 LTC from me too, unless he comes good. Unfortunately I believed the various vouches for him in the LTC/FC thread such as https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1980160
