So I was wondering, what would you guys consider the perfect bank.

Fees?
Common complaints?
Things it should offer?
Locations / Online only?
What currencies should be accepted?

Well anything you can really think of.

I want to hear from you and want to hear about the most common complaints.
Any bank horror stories?
What happened?
What should have happened?

A perfect bank is like a cooperative that considers all of its depositors its members and after the year of business they will be giving dividends and patronage refund to the members for the deposit they made. This kind of bank is user based and not profit oriented and thus people will love it since even if they pay the interest from their loans but at the end of the year they will get something in return.

1. Bank's reputation not only in my country but internationally too.
2. Good training of their employees.
3. As few paperwork especially for basic work.
4. Clear terms in any banking process without small letters in the bottom of the page.

Well yes couple of thing which is very important for any bank to exists and provide its services to customers are as follows ;

- Simple and very low fees or no fees if possible for transaction done and withdrawal from ATM. Many banks do charge ATM withdrawal fees here.
- Online it should be quick and provide majorly all facilities online and good location branch .
- Regarding currency bank will only accept the one which is recognized and controlled by government .

This is fun asking people to give you and design a perfect bank for you? what else would you like me to go in 3D-home and design a your physical offices as well?
Tell me what makes you to trust a bank completely? what do you need to see or know about them to put your trust and money in their hands?
As bitcoin is indeed a perfect bank it also lets you to decide whether or not you're willing to risk your money and for how long and just with a few clicks away from making any big or small transfers/decision.
By the time people start to realize this simple fact that the stupidest thing is for you to put your bitcoins in a bank.

Banks need to be backed by physical gold reserves and if not with insurance you are practically doomed.

Bitcoin.

i agree but i would add, the perfect bank should be "fixed bitcoin" with proper scaling solution, and not fee that cost more than expensive shitty paypal

add also something to make bitcoin look more user friendly, and less tech savy, a new gui interface for the newbie masses that want to use it, maybe like multi bit but better, with interchangeable wallet format with Core(i mean you can use the same wallet.dat from core)

Everything can never be in a perfect manner. How hard we plan finally some imperfection happens and few accept the imperfection making it a lead for their services, some describe the same as a negative line and avoid it. Think of bitcoin, most of the like the fluctuation which profit the users. Some are there who fear for the same and avoid using bitcoin. So imperfection might slowly becomes perfect but from the beginning we cannot give assured perfectness.

If you are asking for the offline bank system to be perfect and what should be quality that make them perfect then I will say that that bank will be more perfect if not apply any type of the charge for us for the deposit and withdraw .
And second thing that  bank should accept and make us able to made online payment with every type of Fiat that are approved in the world .
Here I am also willing that the perfect bank should start accept bitcoin , Because without bitcoin bank can't be perfect , Because bitcoin is perfect than bank so if the bank accept bitcoin then surely we can see them as an perfect system bank .
Beside of all these qualities the another thing that made trust with the user is the customer care support  ,that should be always able to response in better way .

The perfect bank can never exist, not even theoretically.

A bank owner would want APR's on mortgages, car loans, student loans, credit cards to be as high as possible.

Those who use banks want APR's on mortgages, car loans, student loans, credit cards to be as low as possible.

Self interests are mutually opposed. What is good for elites, the wealthy and banks is typically bad for the average person, the poor and middle class.

There's no perfect bank that satisfies everyone or makes everyone happy.

One might say that many issues plaguing society and civilization are due to banks catering too unfairly to the interests of the wealthy & elites, creating regulations and policies which are bad for small businesses, the poor and middle class.

The perfect bank actually should be bitcoin! The conventional bank we have now are being run by greedy individuals and institutions, the owners also think on how to defraud the depositors, investors and they debtors. Bitcoin, as a crypto currencies is decentralized in nature and because of this nature of bitcoin greedy and fraud if the system is perfected are eliminated.

In my opinion the best and perfect bank will be those , if  they not even hear and accept complain but also solve our problem speedly as much as possible .
The second thing that should easy to handle and own your bank account anywhere with your valid KYC ,regardless of the matter that from.which state , country  you are :| .
If the above quality is satisfied by the ban perfectly then in my opinion that bank will be perfect .
Here I will not tell that the bank should accept multiple Currency Because in this case they will charge more like a trader

I bank with the perfect bank.

Online, brick and mortar is for old people. Incredibly low fees. Overdraft is allowed, you hit a negative balance the bank loans you the difference (up to $500 or so) and charges you reasonable interest. Ability to open additional accounts instantly, online, no questions asked. Interest rate on savings from from the first deposit, no minimums. Interest that aligns and adjusts instantly with the base interest rate in the country.

The only thing I don't have is ability to hold bitcoin along side my fiat...but that's not that bad. It's probably best to keep those balances separate.

- Low fees. That's to keep the bank be able to pay his cost.
- Low complaints. It tells us if the bank takes care of the customers.
- Not spreading a bullshit. Some banks are offering crap things for the customer.
- We are in the latest century based on the effectivity and efficiency.
- All of the currencies will make the customers easier.

Most common complaints are about the bank try to block the customer's account without any awareness.

I personally think that banks should be avoided at all costs - bitcoin is a good alternative to avoid that middle man altogether. I believe that this is one of the most important steps we can take towards making banks up their game, in terms of fees and all.

I was really shocked to find how much hassle it was to exchange foreign currencies and if you had cash, they would offer you really really bad rates.

Foreign transfer fees are ridiculous as well.

Bitcoin solves all these things.

Banks are really confusing in my country. This might be because of our population. One of the common problem is too many ways to do transaction and some of them are such that they can not be understood by common average people (may due to illiterate nature). But bank staff should be helping them but they won't because as I said earlier too many people!

Also, internet banking on the other hand is getting popular but trust that our banks has built is not that much. I have seen people worried about internet banking, fearing their accounts might get hacked and someone might steal their money. The fees and surcharges are always there for the cards. I never understand, if I am keeping million dollars in my bank account (which my bank uses to give loans to other people with heavy interests) then why it charges me extra charges!  So fees are complicated things and fees shouldn't be there if my bank using my money for their profits.

It really depends on the location and the needs of people must be heard inorder to build that perfect bank thing, but its not easy to build this kind of banks existing banks mission is to earn profits and more profits and not the for the welfare of their clients, for me a perfect bank must have a very acceptable loan system(low interest rates),have a very minimal withdrawal fees on atm , with a high interest rates on savings and mostly can accept bitcoins do an online transactions using web or apps on android/ios.

A perfect bank would work with colateral, something they can sell if the person not able to pay their debit for 3 months, and the interests they does pay to savings compared the fee they charge should be more balance if banks charges 30% savings should be able to earn atleast 12-15%.

1. They should offer simple information of services, profits and answer user's questions.

2. They should have loans or credits and others kind of financing with little paperwork.

3. They should be able that grant their clients efficiency and speed with their payments service. either in a store or online.

4. And finally,  they should offer to new clients services with simplicity.
