Vircurex back online!

Actually, they are not trading anymore and will wipe out the IXC & SC balances on the 30th.

Indeed, the Twitter is mostly repeating what Vircurex say on their thread.

Any ideas for IXC exchange?

Initially that was the default setting but after many users "complaining" that the screen looks to crowded we defaulted it to BTC only.

but Vircurex is a complicated system.

Complicated?  Once you get the hang of it rather not, sophisticated, surely yes.

But back to your question, how to trade.   Per default the BTC/NMC trading page appears. If you want to trade any other currency pair, just click on that currency pair in the box on the right hand side, e.g. BTC/DVC.

By the way, we offer any-2-any trading, you could trade e.g. NMC/DVC. In order to activate those, go to your user settings->layout and uncheck the box infront of "Show only BTC rates".

Hope this helps.

Thank you for helping me. I had no clue you had to go into the setting to see other trading options. Why would you do that!

What reason is there to accumulate DEV and IXC Coins?!?

I am going to mine bitparking tonight for these coins while I sleep to try it out, why should I do so? Also, how do you trade them for NMC and BTC on Vircurex? I don't understand the order system? I understand how to change NMN to BTC on BTC-e, but Vircurex is a complicated system. These doesn't seem to be a easy to read guide on how to use this exchange. Help me out guys. Is it a waste of time? Why do people mine these ALT currencies? Should I just go back to Bitminter, BTC Guild, & 50 BTC?

Are ALT cryto-currencies just for fun?!
DVC has a use, IXC hasnt
altough i mine both of them with MM (Merged Mining)

But why? And what use? Do you understand how to trade them for other coins?
Vircurex is the best exchange for Altcoins.
Use of DVC: read the Devcoin Thread Smiley

You: I use DEV coins for stuff
Me: Like What?
You: Go read somewhere else...
