Have you check this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-list-of-exchangeable-bounty-campaign-5232710 ?

There are several bounty campaign which are using their token become a reward for their participant and token/coin has been listed or traded on the exchange. Which I think that is a good program so far, so you can  get money per week constanly.

Nowadays, most of the projects are getting launched with the intention of profit making in short time period so they not really caring about developing their project and get complete output after the initial sales that is why it is rare to find them.

they give 5000 USDT as a rewards to those who will found bugs in the website + 50000 tokens . I don't see any one join in that campaign but its good to try since the rewards they give  is  not bad to try.
Yeah they are rare but they do exist and to be honest it is not something that the errand-boy type spamming campaign like the ones for twitter and facebook. Bug hunting is a professional job and so if they are paying something for it, it is usually a big amount as you have pointed out. Hence not everyone is qualified or knowledgeable to take part in that.

Moreover if some is a security expert they would have a better paying job itself than go for a bug bounty but there are freelancers and younger students who might be interested in them. Smiley

in my opinion it is not easy to find a good bounty development, maybe a few weeks ago I was just like you, confused looking for a good project with the development of the bounty and yes in the end I got information from friends here and after I thought I thought it was good enough to do,
I think you are misunderstanding what the OP is looking for. As @slaman29 correctly said, the OP is looking for bug bounty services. There are whitehat hackers who work with debugging different things and they help in development of a project by making sure it is bug free on different aspects. We are used to the word bounty as a payment for promoting a project but that is a different type of bounty.

As for the OP, there is less chance of you getting any good tech people here, better to ask on a freelancing website or contact a tech consultancy firm.

I found bounty like that here [BOUNTY] Datamine (DAM) Smart Contract Exploit Bug Bounty

they give 5000 USDT as a rewards to those who will found bugs in the website + 50000 tokens . I don't see any one join in that campaign but its good to try since the rewards they give  is  not bad to try.

Development of the project can only be seen in their announcement  thread ,you will never find any development update in bounty thread since this thread talk only for bounties and once the bounty ended it will be locked or leave it good by the manager who manage the campaign.

If you really looking for development tried to check older ICO project announcement  thread ,that also have bounties before. you can see there if the project continue to develop or if they forget about it after the sales.

You can try out of the forum. I know for this website https://gitcoin.co/ also I saw, some users wrote that they made money through this site. I think bounties.network is also part of the same team, maybe is there easier to navigate and search for open jobs.
although if you're really good at it, why you don't create your own service and promote it?

Or is the whole of crypto not actually building products Huh
I would honestly say yes and no.

There are good quality projects being developed but there is a shit ton of shit projects being promoted heavily though the trend has reduced to some extent. You see the whole project development thing is good and people join them provide their services and get paid. Its like a day job there.

This is not the same as what the word "bounty" is commonly used for here. The term you are looking for is "team member" I believe. Bounty is for rewarding some users who take part in promoting the project and not develop the project.

I think some people in this thread are actually talking about BUG BOUNTIES (also already mentioned). And it's a real thing, that some projects do a lot of. So you have two types of development, one which is to help code or build something, in which case it shouldn't be called a bounty like you said. The other is a reward for finding problems that would be dangerous for users, and helps devs fix, hence bug bounty.

Easy to say but it is really hard to be done thats why majority do really end up on joining continous shitty projects because they arent really serious on searching everything. Some do might really have that kind of searching things but still scam projects now are too sophisticated on making themselves look very  legit thats why there are still lots of investors do get victimized and ico are still running but somewhat it do already get lesser and lesser support or funding because people are becoming smarter and smarter as they do gain experience in the past. Development in bounties? I dont have much hope into this one.
In that description for other projects that are hard to determine the legitimacy. It's the struggle of most bounty hunters because they are good in the introduction and making themselves at their best which is effective in attraction.

But their true nature comes out once the project is about to end in sales or their marketing has been successful. For a guy that understands this and waiting for the good one to come, IMHO he's doing it correctly.

You will rarely find them. I agree with stomachgrowls, you have to research them. I don't think that they're extinct but somehow a few of them can still exist today.

absolutely right it seems like it won't be easy and it seems like basic research and information isn't enough right because it seems quite difficult and will take time, but I usually just wait in a few threads to find out about this development bounties, well no need to rush and also while looking for the latest information that I need for the campaign program that I will follow.
It's common that most of the bounty campaigns aren't the same anymore and you're likely to get into a bad bounty if you just keep joining without analysis, research, and understanding the project you are joining.

In your part, if you are not rushing and you are waiting for the right one to join. Then, you are doing a good thing because you don't join anything that you see pop on the bounties section unlike what others are doing.

I can't seem to find development bounties in bounty threads.
Does anyone know of where I can find good development bounties?
The proper place for that would be either in "Services" or "Project Development".

you can find that ins some trusted bounties i.e cartesi and it has already created a good product and you can also try to use the product too. You can also try to take a look at arcs chain too and the latest project who have already developed product like oikos should be considered as a good project too

It's a sad reality that most of the projects today are building project not building products. If you know what I mean, they build project to increase the capital that they have knowing that it's for funding but they never use it for the exact reason they have proposed.
I agree with this more project of these days are just getting funds but no good product and some are not even possible to work
They will never work because they have a hidden agenda and that is to make easy money. The projects before, they've seen that they were effective in getting collection for funding and that's why most of the new projects lately doesn't really have an effective solution or product.

They're all inspired to the past projects that garnered millions of dollars and they thought that ICO or IEO is a good business. And the fate of bounties will just depend to its mother project, so if it turns to be a bad project then it will become a bad bounty.

Back in the day, development bounties were a thing, as most projects would buy a pre-built coin then hoped community would improve it.
Nowadays, anything serious has it's own dev team.

All you do need is an in depth research! Projects nowadays turns out to be a shit but there are still few numbers who are trying to build up their project
but most of the time these projects do fail due to lack of funding or support.

I cant blame of investors in regards to this since we know on how ICO market turns out to be a shit due to scams and frauds which do highly affects
the entire reputation and dragged those legit projects on.

Some might able to build up products or do able to follow their roadmap but majority do fail up to fulfill their promises.
