That wasn't promised, that was planned. DGC is able to adjust to the environment when the community agrees on a change.
Sounds fair to me. Its not like this change was thrust upon people without any discussion or lead in time too. This is a good change, importantly to relieve downward pressure on the market amongst other things and will benefit the dgc community in the long term.

Mostly to give everyone enough time and warning to update their clients.
Also to give everyone a fair chance at mining DGC and purchasing DGC at a fair price so no one can call fowl at the rewards dropping.

It's a perfect update, but block 523800?Why? Because of CryptoAave? It's more than a month!

Yup, 50/100% steps are too big. I think 15% steps are even better. FTC and PXC have 9% max up/down and that's working smooth, no multipool issues anymore.
