I couldn't see the 2% written anywhere on the site, but maybe it is.

JD started risking 1%, dropped to 0.25% when nakowa won a lot, and put it up to 0.5% a few days later where it stayed.

UTC Timestamps of the two changes:

2013-09-25 10:34:16 -> 0.25%
2013-09-28 00:00:05 -> 0.5%

Ok dooglus thansk for your informations, support and estimate to us.
Thanks also to up our thread continuously.

Not really true.
I invested 12k DOGE today. I have a 9.66% share at this moment.
Just imagine 12k doge is only worth €2. With only €2, you can own almost 10% of a casino, wow!

We talked about "avarage" of all coin on our site.

Thansk for your investment  Grin

Me ! The next week when I'll get my money from the work I'll invest something in your casinò ! I like so that Smiley

Dooglus, they are obviously amateurs! But, as far as they have a so little bankroll, I think they don't have many other choices than risk this variance. Me as an investor know that i'm taking a risk... it's like gambling, but with the house edge in your favor.

Ok, so the expected variance is actually double than JD at the start, right? What is the risk of default?

I think they didn't post much because they barely knows the statistic behind the game... Your indirect help is much appreciated Smiley

I have invested with this guys only because they asked for help on the italian subforum, and they're actually making some of the suggested changes and improving, I think this is good.

Yes, our target is 0.5%, but currently try to risk with 2%.

Right now our investors have 6/7% of bankroll. Currently we risk our investment ^^.

How much was the % for JD?

I agree that trust is the biggest problem for investors, not the variance...

I think risking 2% of their bankroll per bet is probably the only safe thing about this site.

@dooglus; when did you start/stop recording daily stats for DB? If I remember correctly, they used to have a 2% max profit. I know because I told them in their thread really early on that it was a terrible idea, but I was shot down almost instantly.

We have currently 3.1 BTC bankroll. Max profit for single bet 0.062 BTC.

>>> 0.062 / 3.1 * 100
2.0

You're risking 2% of your investors' coins per roll with a 1% house edge?

That isn't very safe.

Another dice game? You must have a faucet right and what's the maximum bet ?

When you roll the dice, you will get a random number back from 0 to 99.

#Roll High (higher than 50): your roll number must be at least 51 and above to win = 49 numbers = 49% chance

#Roll Lower (lower than 50): your roll number must be at least 49 and lower to win = 50 numbers (including 0) = 50% chance.

Mmmm, it's not really.

Random number is from 0.01 to 100

Roll High: > 50.50
Roll Under: <= 49.50

You have same 49.50% (not 50%) change in this two case.

Oh, sorry, I did the math wrong.  Grin

The Concierge of Crypto
And secondly a self-signed certificate (which they are not using) does not offer close to the same level of security.

I stand corrected. But what I meant was that they offer the same encryption levels possible, like AES256. It's just that you don't know for sure or with any certainty who you are dealing with, if you can trust them, or if someone hacked a man in the middle thing. But for "real" sites, such as exchanges, it's not expensive to get those EV certs, the ones with "green bars".

I don't think we'll see that with game sites though, unless they are licensed by some gambling authority.

Wow, this Ardeva thing is something. But would I trust my complete identity to that service? (Then again, I'm already an open book, so that's the other option.)

Bad and evil governments can get to Ardeva, if they decide that this dice site is a tax evader or something similar.

The token will be sent only to the escorow(s). So only the escrow can link the site owner's identity to the site

It just means they are using a self-signed certificate.

No, we bought a regular ssl certificate on ssls.com

yes my email is [email protected]
It just means they are using a self-signed certificate. Not professional, but technically the same security and encryption. But if you're going to operate a dice site, it would be much better to just pay for the cheapest CA certified SSL certificate. I think it's about $10 per year or something like that.

very true , it should be a concern Smiley
