Congratz on all Litecoin Investors. after the raid to the LTC pot a few days ago down to -300 LTC, while Just now, a guy who was betting 1.15x with litecoin brought the house a flip from negative to positive, with now 300LTC profit.

Just a nice tip for every investor, both LTC and BTC, here is a quote from the movie Sweeney Todd. A sentence from Mrs. Lovett.

(Sorry for you who divested in the bottom.... my friend....)

Targeting Chinese is the best thing to do. They have much more money, they spend much more and they are addicted to gambling.
China has recently become the number 1 country for Bitcoin.

I have been invested now since start of the site.
Is it better for me to divest sometimes or should I keep being invested all the time to maximize profit?

The expected profit grows along for longer you stay. But really, no one really knows the outcome and you shall not expect your profit to be linear and growth steadily.
Investing comes with risk, and often time the risk is more or less in proportion to the return. Good Luck

nobody knows because the evaluation of a 'better investment' comes from if there is profit or not, and that depends on the luck of players.

the math for +EV only works in the long term, with enough players and wagered.

investing and divesting often is similar to gambling however, so if you play that game you might as well just gamble and be able to control the bets.

Why does it have to be "return to base after win or after loss"? I don't want to return to base.
Is it possible to do different things (ex: change payout) after win and loss?

So if there were very big bets, say by a "whale", ultimately you approach two scenarios if you allow the user to win 100% of the pool
1) the whale loses the bet, you as the investor make 190% return  (50.5% probability with a 1% edge)
2) the whale wins the bet - you make a 0% return.  (49.5% probability with a 1% edge)
Then the expected return - is roughly 95.95% of your money.

Obviously an extreme case, but what would the math look like for a 1% or 0.5% max bet?

I'm pointing out the disadvantages to investors of having the commission taken away from them BEFORE they cash in their winnings. You could easily, especially in the early stages of a site when it has little bankroll, have your profit go up 100%, pay a 10% commission, and then have your investment go back below what you put in - in which case you are facing a 10% loss (commission) plus the additional loss from betting.

This is compounded if you do it daily.

The problem is lessened if you assume the website will operate for a longtime and will be profitable in the longterm (though this is something that just-dice hasn't always been).

I'm not sure what is fair, because the website operator needs a more standard flow of income than the investors do.

Offline ?

Running now.
EDIT: Still having problems. Frontend loaded, but it couldn't connect to the server data.

Someone has been continuously botting for the past 5 hours, and my client has stayed connected watching them.

Can you give me any error messages you received?

There was an attempt at ddos yesterday, so I took some mitigating measures.
