I did not buy. I just mine the altcoin and sell them for the bitcoin. So I effectively bought more bitcoin at the time.

Mike sold his coins then crashed the price, of course anyone intelligent just holds through the bullshit, but did any of you buy some of the coins at around 3XX range? I would say we are still at discount price since we are only going up after the Mike Hearn and Classic FUD is gone and Core devs can keep focusing on improving Bitcoin.

Yes, i still remember whe he created this huge panic, months ago, and i think he did this only for a chance for him to buy bitcoins cheaper

And of course i bought lots of bitcoins because of him, price was very small
I highly doubt that.  It doesn't take much for me to start doubting bitcoin and I can see how he just wanted out.  But I can't remember and don't have a chart in front of me--did the price crash all that much?  Seems like we've just been stuck in a tight range now for at least as long as he wrote his words.

I haven't really bought all that much.  Been playing mostly with altcoins and that sort of high-risk thing.

Probably I bougth some too, as I tend to buy in small chunks as the price lowers and sell some too when the price begins to raise.

I bought some when the price crashed. So I think Mike Hearn for his kind words to the bitcoin itself.

I sold all my BTC one hour after he posted his blogpost and more then doubled my investments because of that. Too bad you guys missed that opportuniity, but hey, you can't win them all. I certainly haven't but this one was golden.

BTW I think BTC was and still is overvalued.
You are still invested in Bitcoin but think that it was and is overvalued?

I am happy with my investment, I have my coins in cold storage and don't buy or sell the peaks and dips.  If and when I do sell, it will be because I don't believe in Bitcoin anymore, so a non-issue at the moment

I bought some when the price dropped below $400. It was very good opportunity to buy at that price.

yes i did buy some, and it is really funny how lots of people just sells their bitcoins because someone sold his and told dumb things about bitcoins, intelligent peaople just holds their bitcoin and buys more for small price, but good thing is that price is okay now, 430$ and still going up

Mike Hearn manipulated the market so he could buy as low as he could before halving. He understands the law of supply and demand which is proof that halving will allow the currency to skyrocket. Normally, this would be illegal to do. But because it's Bitcoin, there will be no repercussions for Mike.

And that's what's so great about Bitcoin. You can spread all this fake news, for your benefit or not, and not worry about being punished by some government. Mike used the market to his advantage and, honestly, he did nothing wrong.

Is he an asshole? Absolutely. But if you sold while the price was low take it as a lesson for the next time. Bitcoin's price will always go up after it falls. I bought into Bitcoin when it was low and am getting ready for the incoming price surge.

Maybe Hearn sold his BTC, positioned himself into Ethereum over a some period of time, made his shitty whiny rage quit, therefore front-run and dropped the market. After that many guys who sold their BTC moved into Ethereum as well. When you check Hearn's statement and the time Ethereum started to rise there is definitely some correlation imo. After that the FUD against Bitcoin got pushed even more and the Ethereum bubble started to grow while it was embraced in the media as the new super crypto. This way he and his bankster bros could have made a shitload of money.I really can imagine this whole thing was planned very well.

Well, you are lucky mate... made a great decision that time..I too missed the opportunity...When you say overvalued, does it mean that price would still drop lower and we still have a chance to buy at lower price before halving?

you are lucky, i knew about it but i could only sell my hot wallet coins, since i couldn't access my cold storage at that time so the amount i doubled was smaller than it could be Sad
