Bitcoins dit not bring me into the gambling and otherwise because i already had allot of bitcoins and never wanted to gamble with it because coins are not made for that.

I never gambled before either.... also started with Bitcoin

It was definitely gambling- namely, poker - that got me into Bitcoin.

It all started with Poker Black Friday - April 15, 2011 when the US government shut down Poker Stars and Full Tilt for US citizens. I had to find a new place to play poker that accepted US players. The few sites that did still accept US players at the time all sucked ass for various reasons ranging from scamming players, allowing cheaters to run rampant on their site, to having shitty graphics/UI/connection issues and the worst of all was the long waits for withdrawals.

Some places you had to wait 5-6 months to get your withdrawal. And on top of that, you could not check the status of your withdrawal at any time during that period. You just had to hope and pray that nothing happened where you had to restart the process all over again and that the check would someday appear in your mailbox half a year later.

One day in late 2011 during my never ending search for a place to play, I came upon Seals With Clubs Poker which accepted US players and had some semblance of traffic. They accepted US players, but they used this thing called Bitcoin. "WTF is bitcoin?" I remember thinking to myself at the time. I learned that I could buy bitcoin with cash, deposit bitcoin to the site, withdraw my winnings in bitcoin virtually instantly then convert it back to cash relatively quickly. And also, they didn't require any ID verification, address verification or bank account information. Back then, the price of bitcoin ranged between $7 - $14 US.

It all sounded legit enough so I joined and thus began my bitcoin adventures. So if it weren't for my govt trying to screw me over, I might have never discovered the wonderful world of bitcoin.  

We all have our own way on how we discover bitcoins, I think majority of the people who knows bitcoins is just because they are real gamblers in life and when they found a way to gamble conveniently, they then hooked to bitcoins gambling.

I never play gambling, but after getting to know bitcoin so I playing gambling. so bitcoin has brought me into gambling.

I got into bitcoin when a friend mentioned it (about how it works, did not mention anything about gambling). But to be honest, I quickly realized it could be used in gambling and I have been using bitcoin in that way since then.

still i am in bitcoin and not entered in to gambling. if i join gambling i will say that bitcoin brought me into gambling. but in present time i am only involve in bicoin and not in gambling, so cant say anything about that.

I definitely got into bitcoin first.  I watched "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin" and was instantly interested.  I bought $5 worth of bitcoin right away.  It wasn't very long after that that I tried gambling on Satoshi Dice.  That site was mentioned in the movie and so I was interested in it too.

First before bitcoin I was gambling very rarely with sbobet ,in fact they closed my account a few days because of 1 year of inactivity but they had my CC number and my identity too. Soon as I knew about bitcoin and get a few satoshi, I started gambling without worries about my identity or anyone knowing who I was or what I was doing, so Bitcoin brought me into gambling and not the other way around.

This is something that is natural, as most markets accept bitcoin is a gambling site, as have the confirmation of the bitcoin is much better than using your Bank/credit card. Gambling is indeed very dangerous to those who do not yet know correctly about bitcoin

Definitely the case. I think one of the best options that bitcoin offers you is to have instant deposits and withdrawals, not only on gambling sites but on other trading sites as well.

This is a huge advantage over traditional payment systems which may take days to clear.

Bitcoin has probably introduced me gambling  because before I know bitcoin, I don't gamble at all. Nowadays, I gamble just to have some fun and kill time and not win big like others do.

Same with me now lol ... Since I joined a signature campaign here, and payment is sent to the site  I did explore to the site and try dice. Dice game is fun and I limit only my time to play as I do not wan to be hook or addicted to gambling

Yes i agree that because of online gambling sites are increased lot so Bitcoin get more value here. Or else Bitcoin is no value. Yes Bitcoin is not legal in many countries so no shops and nothing will use this bitcoin means for what purpose people use this Bitcoin right. So because of online gambling site Bitcoin get value.

I think majority of us here know bitcoins because we are gamblers. As of the moment bitcoins is back by the gambling industry that is why the demand is increasing due to the increase of online gambling sites.

Neither. They're two sperate things for me. I used to gamble with CSGO items, but I dropped after I lost a $1.5 wager. I got into bitcoin a while ago, just get really into it until now.

Neither,bitcoin got me interested in bitcoin.Online gambling got me interested in to gambling.Actually I don't gamble much but sports betting.Since I used to pay the bookey manually ,bitcoin took all the trouble out,all thanks to directbet.

I'm not a serious gambler by any means but I can see how many are enticed to bet with BTC as it's much easier and anonymous to do, especially with no account deposits, no credit card info etc.

There's also many people that disregard BTC as real money, they hold it dearly but they don't think of it as real actual expendable money, more like a virtual asset that they can do certain things with but not others.

So you gamble only faucet coins?
