Everyone thinks crypto investment is very easy and anyone who has cash can do that. But in reality, it's an art that must be learned prior to getting started. Many have made fortunes who played here sensibly, while those who just bought and sell coins based on speculations were not able to recover even their initial investment.

You did wrong if you didn’t learn and understand how the financial market works before investing in btc. If you did not conduct a sufficient analysis of how the cryptocurrency market works. If you has invested in Bitcoin more than 30% of your annual income. If you bought only Bitcoin and did not diversify the risks in your portfolio.

This point of view is only if you think Bitcoin is just an investment.
If you think it's a game changer in the financial world, even if you lose money it's not a big deal.
Not everyone need to make money and have a portfolio. Some people are just here for the tech or the vision.

I depends on how much have you invested and when Smiley One can't share it's opinion if he/she doesn't know the details.
Anyways, I think investing in btc a little amount can not to be a mistake.
Little or much, i think as long people use money that really free, not used from daily need, or maybe not from loan or sell assets that really important, will be ok. What can be mistake from people if they make investment because of fomo, or maybe only because see other people get profit from bitcoin investment. With that, they will directly expect from profit and then make investment without deep analysis.

Investing in bitcoin is always depend on our patience, if ee dont have patience maybe it is really wrong to invest into it. Because bitcoin is always unstable and not everytime we can get a profit on it. The bitcoin is always high on volatility so we also need to have patience on waiting for the right time for good.

I'm asking... if you started buying/investing in Bitcoin in December 2018 when the price was under $ 4k, did you make a mistake?

investing in Bitcoin is not much different from investing in other types such as forex and stocks, it all depends on your decision, at what price you enter/buy. so don't think you made the mistake of investing in Bitcoin, if you buy at a cheap price then you made the right decision.

You know this question is unavoidable...

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

A lot of people have heard of the benefits achievable with BTC investments and decided to invest.
The recent market setbacks have brewed a very big question in the minds of new investors...

What will be your response to this question?
If you are not afraid of failure and loss, I encourage you to invest in this market and try to profit from it. This market is just beginning and there is plenty of time ahead, if you have the patience and confidence then invest in it. Investment Bitcoin  will be a long-term investment and you need to have the patience to be profitable. We are currently in the bear market but certainly in the future there will be a bull run and will surpass the old ATH

This question has different answers sides...

If you are going to ask it right now, there is a good price fluctuation which gives investment a good opportunity for profit.
There are alot of new countries adopting it and several good news making it worth for new investors to start buying therefore it's good for your buy vs sell price in the future.

Just dont go all in investing into bitcoin only cause if you buy in a bad moment where the price starts going down suddently, most of the unpatient, uninformed investors will try to sell immediatly and follow the trend.
Therefore you will lose your investment on the long run.

Sadly there has not been enough realized progress to ever live up to the hype. In my opinion that means a very slow gradual death over many years which will see several fake pump and dump volatility swings along the way. Hope FutureBen is wrong about that though!

Surely you've made the right choice you just invested in a perfect time. The market is in a recession right now, that's why in order for your investment to be fruitful you need to have patience just like any investment whether fiat, gold or any other assets.
It takes time to actually profit, crypto currency is not a instant money making tool.

I don't see any reason for doubting and regretting in Bitcoin, I invested on it too but of course it is up to us how much value we are going to sell it, if we sold it at lost, then it is our fault, and investing in Bitcoin is not mandatory, we can always have the option to refuse if we are really not sure of it, so there's nothing right or wrong in investing in Bitcoin, it depends.

Actually it doesn't just take times, it takes the proper time when to invest. And investing right would not be the right idea because bitcoin's market price is in a crucial part for me, once it breaks the 7000 dollars support level, it could lead to more market decline which will be the time where we, short investors are waiting, what we just need to do is to stay awake in the market or to set an alarm for us to see how the market will behave and to guess the possible dip it could reach.

One thing you should consider when investing is to spot the right price based on your market analysis, because if you really want to earn profit in trading, more profits will depends on how close you buy the dip.

In any type of investment you must have patience, investment in any action, real estate or Bitcoin requires time. The biggest mistake of investors is to withdraw the money even when the objective has not been met, or they have not been able to obtain benefits.

The investor must follow up, keep up with the news, keep calm, at this stage of the Bitcoin market the investment is excellent, according to the analysis I made of Wyckoff, the momentum to be in an uptrend is lacking, although I believe It can happen in 2020 because of all the events that will happen, apart from the mass adoption that will be formed.

It depend on what price you bought BTC. Those who bought at $20k back in 2017 are getting hit hard when ever there is market correction. but those who bought back when it was still $100 only are busy enjoying the entire game.
Yeah, somehow. Logically, they did a great mistake (though not intended at all) because they bought on a very high price and suffering due to bearish market until now. BUT, I believe that it is not yet over for them, for us, because I believe that btc will bounce back. So whatever point you enter, whether during the bloodbath or ATH, you are still considered safe as long as you remain hodling. Always, remember that 1 BTC remains the same in terms of bitcoin even how hard the market move down. Just change yput way of thinking, don't let such crisis affect you because good things happen for those who patiently wait Smiley.

so far I still hold bitcoin and try to find it. I don't really care about people's opinions, I'll just consider for myself whether it's worth it or not. besides, right now bitcoin seems to be pumping up. You know, some developments in 2020 are said to have the same potential in 2017. So, I think having Bitcoin right now is not a bad thing, in fact, I feel that it's the right choice.
It is not worth it to hold bitcoins if the trend is bearish. You said that bitcoin "seems pumping up" but the reality it is not pumping up because it still consolidating. You keep hoping and expecting too much. People do not understand the opportunitites in the market, they keep hoping for something that are not realistic. If we will expect make sure it is realistic. Investing in bitcoin is not a mistake but if you do not consider the time and the price then it is a mistake.

no one makes mistakes, it's only a matter of time, if you are more patient, everything is fine.
mistakes are not just because of time, if indeed people could be more precise in making the time and could make the right target also in the sale price maybe it would be better. if we only blame time, we never learn from mistakes that occur so we must be right in choosing the time to invest

They haven't made any mistake by investing in bitcoin. Every investment has a downtime,  and it is the responsibility of an investor to be weary of the trend of the moment,  which is dump by weak hand.
There is no assurance of profit by getting worried,  one can only HODL while waiting for the retraction to uptrend.
The fluctuating of price is the joy of crypto investment which enable new investors to come onboard.
Therefore,  they should employ the spirit HODL,  that is the only way to hope.
