Yes, it's down for a while and they are asking to refer to twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/blockchain

Just now I needed to receive my payment via BTC and it's down. It should be back within few houes else my wait will increase. This is the third time in 3-4 months. Sad

You can still recieve payments but just use a desktop wallet if you need access to it straight away. BC.info will inevitably have downtown every so often being a third party website so you should have other wallets anyway.

It's up now and working. I checked my balance using blocktrail website and I'm glad that even though blockchain was down, my transaction still got confirmed.

Sigh.a relief .That took some time but at last it got up .
Am locking the thread
Thank you all Smiley

If you must keep your coins on a 3rd party wallet then they're probably the safest.

People are always embarrassing themselves, flapping about when BC.i goes down for maintenance. They've existed for years & are imo one of the only trustworthy 'web wallet' providers.

If you must keep your coins on a 3rd party wallet then they're probably the safest.

They've had issues like this 3 or 4 times in the past year, they have a period of maintenance/down time which is usually about 24 hours then they go back live & 100% ok.

Type your bitcoin address into another block explorer & you'll see that all your coins are in the wallet.
BC.i offer a paper wallet service (of sorts) so you can swipe all of your coins into another wallet now any way if you have the private key provided on the paper wallet.

Just relax, they'll be sorted/fixed soonish.

Blockchain.info is not reliable nowadays. Try using blockexplorer instead.

Really? I thought all the problems where solved. I always used Blockchain.info, im too used to it. I usually miss a lot the feature to click on the BTC sign and then have it translated automatically at current USD price. They should add to other block explorers like blocktrail which is lacking this.

Just tried to push a transaction and it gave me the same error. Then I refreshed and it says its under-maintenance. It's really unreliable with such errors, try using blocktrail.com or btc.blockr.io.

People, aren't you used to this kind of issues with blockchain.info? Better switch to blockr instead. Seems like they are under maintenance.

im using blockchain.info and im getting the same error, however blocktrail seems to be working for me. i think its just issues with blockchain

There is only one place that you should check if you want to be sure of real status of your wallet is your own wallet app. Any 3rd party app can go down or have incorrect info and should not be connected to real state of blockchain.
Asking if blockchain is down because of information from inside 3rd party app is like asking if TV signal is down only because your own TV doesnt work. No..your TV has nothing to do with real state of TV signal.
but the thing is, i never said i checked it through a third party app. i checked it from the website "blockchain.info". and its not loading any adresses o im guessing its down

yeah exactly maybe they are trying to get the reason behind mallaebility attacks....

when I am trying to get my address balance page it is showing 157 error code NBD CLUSTER

and when I checked the nodes section it says 0.

Is it an attack on blockchain???

Which service do you use to check the balance?

Was using blockchain. Anyway got it Blockchain.info is down for maintenance hope it comes alive soon  Grin
