Donating 10% to charity

this is not going to happen without the help of the users though. and by "help" i don't mean the fund raising scams such as ICOs. by help i mean everyone to contribute to projects even if it is a small contribution like posting suggestions you want to see in the interface of your favorite wallet. or bug reporting. that can go up to more experienced contributors like code reviewing, etc.

don't forget that we are in a decentralized system with open sourced projects not some centralized system with a company at the head which you have to look up to deliver!

I agree 100%. We are part of this community now and instead of ask questions about the possible uncertain future why not take a bit of our free time and help make it the future we want it to be?

We need more robust front ends so that everyone can use and secure the coins safely and there is a big opportunity for development in this space and hopefully we will see more good developments in the future.

The human nature doesn't have the mind to tolerate beyond limits, by that situation it'll burst out and explode. Right now what we have been experiencing with cryptocurrency is a massive decline in the market. Days passed with hopes of price recovery and to the expectation we haven't got good forward pump. Now out of fear some could've begun to lose hope as they've invested big. Let's not give hope.

- You're in a community of people who have been in the space for long and have witnessed crashes worse than what we have now
- There are people still waiting to jump in more than those willing to leave
- Many people are still developing and building systems

-Now the community is very different, they are now also more often involved in distributing FUD.
-If everyone waits, then who will act in the future ? More people just wait and waiting and then its make market flattered, after a while, when market got declined, some people panic and make it worse. And if market getting good they also keep waiting till get a good price as they thought.
-Just waiting for other people to build a system and just believe what they are doing does not prove anything so far. I already heard this thing earlier than i know about cryptocurrencies

- The space has more supporters as well as critics than before
It is a known fact that there will be more supporters in this market with time, it takes time for everyone to grasp this market and majority of the people consider this as a high risk investment as you are hearing about lost coins on a daily basis.

- You're in a community of people who have been in the space for long and have witnessed crashes worse than what we have now
People who have invested in this market in the past few years have seen the highs and the lows and how the market reacts.

Quote
- Majority of trolls are out of bad news and are reposting old news to create more FUD?
This is a fact as majority of the old news have being resurfacing for the past few months since they do not have anything new to add and it looks like an organized effort as all the media outlets are copying the same news to create panic.

This technology is at the beginning of its evolution. A lot of things will be regulated in time. There have been recent developments. As you mentioned last, speculation has decreased.

If you are here mainly as a trader and not invested in Bitcoin itself, you will have a hard time coping and taking into your mind what has happened. The people who hadn't believe that technology would surely regret it again. It's not a matter of Holding on a little longer, it's holding it, such that you won't have to let go. You could use it directly. The problem with sharing your knowledge is that there are people who are not willing to open their minds to the cryptocurrencies in general. I hope it changes in time.

This post to me is more of a hope raiser than a did you know post.
Most of the stated fact are known or some has no confirmed statistics.
Yes I am a cryptocurrency enthusiast but I don't just Te people to hope for the best without giving substantial fact because if it all goes wrong they would blame you
Let's just keep knowing what our next moves would be

the ecosystem is grown, there is no denying that and there is no stopping that. it really doesn't matter how many FUD is being spread all around the globe, the adoption of bitcoin will continue to grow. we have seen this for the past 10 years but some people still find it hard to believe until the next leg up begins and they fall behind.

Yes,I already know this.Don't inflate your post count by posting such stuff. Grin
The sad truth is that the true bitcoin/crypto believers are so little, while the "make easy money" newbies just come and go,everytime there's some extreme situtation and panic on the market.

This is to serve as a reassurance to all that though we're struggling to move up in the market, there are good things happening and we should be hopeful.

Let's not lose hope yet, once you've decided to believe in this ecosystem.

Better days may be ahead of us but only time shall tell. Stop asking when bull run, when moon and focus on how you can educate someone in your locality who's ignorant about Bitcoin.

Wishing all of us the best in our crypto journey!!
We seem to share common resolutions on holding on. In my case, I have these philosophies that inspire me:
"When the going gets tough, only the tough get going"

Every time I remember this quote and apply it to the crypto situation, I become more resolute to hold on. Then I add another inspirational quote "quitters don't win and winners don't quit"

The journey will be all smiles at the end.

The road to the "moon" has had been proven to be very bumpy and rough for Bitcoin and the whole of the cryptocurrency market. This is a big market that is opening up itself to almost anyone hence it can suffer from time to time some form of "chaos" when people get into the negative side resulting into some gloom in the market. Right now, there is a great dip and since nobody knows when is the bottom people are still watching and not yet taking massive action to get back. Let's just continue to be positive and the time is coming when Bitcoin can be smiling and be running once again.

I agree. Do these shills even consider the fact that very large companies are invested in Crypto currencies? Coinbase are not simply going to pack up and leave, because the prices are low.

to be fair that is not an indication of good future for cryptocurrencies though. these companies aren't making profit from cryptocurrencies, they are making profit from people using the services they offer. so whether bitcoin is $3000 or $20000 they will make profit only if people use their exchange, use their web wallet, or use their merchant interface and pay them fees for using those services.

This is to serve as a reassurance to all that though we're struggling to move up in the market, there are good things happening and we should be hopeful. So did you know that

- The space has more supporters as well as critics than before
- There are large companies in the industry who have money and could've left (speeding up a collapse) but they're all optimistic
- You're in a community of people who have been in the space for long and have witnessed crashes worse than what we have now
- There is still a valuation of $100B + crypto assets at this time
- Majority of trolls are out of bad news and are reposting old news to create more FUD?
- There are people still waiting to jump in more than those willing to leave
- Many people are still developing and building systems

Let's not lose hope yet, once you've decided to believe in this ecosystem. Those who'll leave have already left and about half of them will comw back if something good happens as it's always been. Hold on a little longer. Let's allow the market to take its course. Better days may be ahead of us but only time shall tell. Stop asking when bull run, when moon and focus on how you can educate someone in your locality who's ignorant about Bitcoin.

Wishing all of us the best in our crypto journey!!
This is a very big encouragement for some of us that are still holding.  I now see the reason for me to keep holding!  Selling at the current price is a heavy lose to me and I am not will to quit.  Many investors are gaining hope on this market and that is why $100b still remains in cryptocurrencies market and that is not small amounts of money compare to what I hold in cryptocurrency market.
FUD will continue to blow up until everyone really does not believe in the future of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
This will always be repeated, it's better to enjoy what is happening in the market today rather than having to always ask when the price of bitcoin will rise again.
FUD is really affecting this market but that is not enough reason for us to abandon cryptocurrencies as more of this is going to come up.

Coinbase are not simply going to pack up and leave, because the prices are low.  Roll Eyes  It is very easy for people to lose confidence in Crypto currencies, when their primary motivation for being invested in Crypto currencies are only to make a profit.

If you use bitcoins on a daily basis and you send money to relatives in other countries at virtually no fee and conduct ecommerce without having to share your credit card details, then you see what it really is all about.

when bitcoin is involved there is something positive happening about it at least once a week but the media during the downtrends never covers them. they prefer click baits about negative stuff.

actually we don't have that many "critics" as you may think. most of those who you think are criticizing, are actually FUDing bitcoin so that they can buy more of it.

Quote
- There is still a valuation of $100B + crypto assets at this time
that is meaningless because it is market cap. and they are not crypto "assets" they are useless copy coins that were created by copying each other. and that value is about 50% fake.

Unfortunately, I don't think they are ever going to be out of FUD. Let's face it, as long as Bitcoin has hype, there's going to be journalists trying to bank on scepticism.

Correct, trolls will be trolls, they will continue to attack no matter what cycles we're in so just be cautious of every news that comes around. It might be a rehearse or something, but most of the time, people failed to read between the line and some of them succumb to this kind of news.

I just seen another thread regarding the impact of bitcoin mining in the environment, these issues pop up months ago, and still there are sites that's reporting this kind of news.

This technology is still new and some persons still think it's a Ponzi or a Pyramid scheme, they will have to be proven wrong with time. But telling people not to ask when moon or bull run is impossible, speculations are part of a healthy market, this is part of what motivate traders and holders. Although patients and perseverance are key to succeeding in crypto.
lol...you still don't get my point there. It's not about just asking when moon or whatever because that's not what willl bring you the moon. The only thing that can take us to the moon will be the trooping in of new people. So my point is, let's try educating more people and then later, we wouldn't need to ask when moon again.

100 billion is not a small market, it is certainly one that should not be taken lightly. Just because it fell from almost 1 trillion doesn't mean it is over, many markets would kill to get close to 1 billion let alone 100 billion dollars
