At this point making profit from both bull and bear market should be the target so we don't always wait until the market is bullish before we make profit out of Crypto. We're you able to spot the beginning of the bear moment or did you join the trend after several candles formed.

For me I joined the trend after the formation of an evening star just above the overbought zone I knew it was going to be a massive sell so I joined the train and made some cool profit. It might likely take a longer time for another pullback for now let keep consolidating around $45k-$48k. What do you think

There's a strong resistance that we're about to face before this month end, but depending on how the market reacts with recent fluctuations. Traders always take opportunity while downtrend affects the real time changes of the market. Short time traders often caused slight crash, then eventually recover after another entry will starts to initiate an entry. Hopefully we're not just seeing $48k, and will fully survive the death cross of $50k.

It's very easy to say that you can profit from a market dip. Lets say that the market takes a dip and then you bought some coins. What if the market dips even further after few days? You will then have to buy even more to reduce your average buy price. Or you can just keep waiting for the market to recover. What if it takes years? What if it never reaches the point that you were expecting it to reach? It's all risky. But without risk, you get nothing.
This is a difficult question to answer and it is painful to buy coin and noticed that the coin had fallen to a price level which is farther than what you initially bought it. Some traders are still holding there losing thinking  the market is going to come back to the level they bought it. People that bought at $62k are still patiently waiting but for how long are they going to wait.
They are trapped either for long term purposes or they didn’t create their cut loss price and now they have to wait a little longer as we failed to break the resistance. Though every dip is an opportunity to buy again, you may not have profit for now but when the market recovers, you’ll also get what you deserve for buying during the dip. I mostly invest on bear trend, its a good price for entry.

I guess the dip is already over. It's time for holders to smile back at their wallets BTC is approaching $49k+. It's just a clear indication that patience pays. We should be expecting a full recovery of bitcoin before the end of the week.

Solana actually dumped but not with much price difference I think it fell from $162 to $150 and it's finding a way to rally back up. Many other coins we're also affcted. Hopefully the crypto market is gradually facing a rally up to meet back it's previous ALTs

This one is over, but be sure that we will see another one! It's crypto, dips and tops are something that happens frequently, catching them is a bit hard, but with patience and giving your buy/sell orders some time can payoff really good! It's why I am a mid to long-term runner, not everyone has a lot of free time that can be invested in daily trading!
I trade only with few coins, one of the things I learned over time, it's better to be focused on just a few coins and to make a profit, than to lose time and money on many of them, you can never pay the same attention to all of them!

The dip already sorted itself up I suppose, and luckily I was able to buy some alts and some BTCs before it started climbing back up again. Was lucky to buy @ $44k for bitcoin and am keeping some of it ever since. ETH was also a good buy too just a few days ago though I was already short in funds. If only I had more money, I would have bought ETH in a heartbeat at $3200 and forget about it for a few months time. Welp, you can't really win them all, but I'm still glad that small dip happened and I had some extra cash to use.

From the latest dip, unfortunately, I didn't. that is very silly, but in fact, I didn't have other funds to trade at that time. So, I decided to wait for the price to come and rise back again as at first before this dip.
I know I need more times to wait, but I believe that it will not be a long time.

as long as we bought correct coins it was good decision but while we trapped in shitcoin maybe it will be disaster for us.
yes actually, taking profits can be done in every market condition, whether in dip or Bullrun. However, it may be a little bit risky. But if we are trading in the spot, the dip is a good time to buy good altcoins to prepare for the next pump.

In my case, I have not been able to take advantage of at least buying a minimum fraction of BTC for various things in my life, including the large expense that my wife is pregnant with, in some South American countries it represents a challenge in expenses a pregnancy, however, a technique that I have discovered is to buy some very cheap alts so that at the time of a good pump sell quickly and buy BTC, this is a fast way to do it, some are more risky and buy tokens in the Pre-sales, and it is a great option because you can leave everything in USDT and at the time of the dip buy BTC, that is a strategy that can work, but it is quite risky.

I think that there were a lot of people planning ahead to sell bitcoin for months now, since they were waiting for the release of bitcoin as a legal tender in salvador on the 7th and they were banking on the fact that this news will drive the price higher and higher up to the release and then they sold just as the price hit the 50k and now since the price has gone down it is gonna take some while before it is gonna hit that point again so it is the best time to put in some investments.

I was scared at first. If i liquidation If I had not added, my balance would have been zero long ago. I added a lot of dollars to recover my balance. As a result, even after a lot of dumping in the market My balance was recovered.
You have Solana's pump to thank  Cheesy. During the flash crash on Bitcoin and other majority of cryptocurrencies, Solana was midway it's pump and didn't dump and hard as most of the coins. If you had entered a long on coins like Link or Ripple, Your position could have not been able to stand a chance.
Solana might have not dumped much during the crush but equally now that the Alonzo hard fork has been deployed and with several smart contracts under way, plus the BTC recovery is not doing much. Everything else is rising, while Solana is still slow to catch on the gains.

Well, at the moment it hard to predict, because even the expert one can't determine the exactly will happen in the future about the price of Bitcoin. That is because the volatility is very mysterious in my own assessment only. Though, I earned several through buying from the dip then wait for another kicking it price once more in the market.

so when we buy on dip make sure we didnt pick shitcoin which is recovery could happen in few years after or even never come. project fundamental be important thing when we accumulate our assets while all price drop.

buying when price drop was good decision for our position in market. some traders say hype is over when price drop , but as traders we get it as best opportunity to earn maximum profits. fear only work to unexperienced traders , but for experienced traders they recognized it as an opportunity.

If there are many different coins, some of which were purchased as investments and which are not subject to sale, it is impossible to respond to such a price change in a timely manner. Therefore, the profit received from the shorts compensated for the loss for this part of the coins and as a result, the balance in dollar terms remained the same.

It's hard to execute if you don't know what you are doing,
but for those experienced traders, they always find good opportunities whatever the market brings them.

many are in fear when dumped is ongoing, but with proper understanding and doing your good research, you can treat the situation as good
point to position yourself with your chosen asset.

Not all can perform this strategy, you need to have good patience most of the time. Decent compensation happened to those who know how to play.

Somehow I sold like 3% of my hodlings, since there isn't that much happening lately. There was a prediction that dips to $42k might happen, so I might as well just buy from that dip when it happens. It's not that too bad at all.

I never joined any trends at all, just did a long-term hodling.

Always miss the peak, always miss the dip. Usually i trade  when pump or dump still happens. And can't decide in what price the coin will go. But as long i get profit it is already enough for me. Doing analysis is not my specialize and even to pick a coin to trade beside bitcoin and maybe other big coins, i ask my friend for suggestion.

I would say I didn't profit from this one because I missed the chance to buy some, it is still not too high, I could still get some at this level if I could, but financially I am not in a position to make more buys. However, I did managed to get a lot on march 2020 drop, and that is the part I am profiting these days. Doesn't mean that you have to catch every single drop, eventually you will end up with some drops that you will miss out on, but as long as you keep doing DCA on each drop you can afford to do, then you will be doing fine.

I love that people are afraid whenever it drops, it shows that people are still unaware that bitcoin could have drops but it will always recollect itself and go high eventually. If there are still so many people who are unaware of that, think of how easy it will be to go higher when more people are aware of it.

We notice that the short time you are talking about trading is very risky, The market will do the opposite of what you want when you plan to open a trade, and this kind of moment makes the goal month very frustrating and if you manage everything efficiently then hopefully you will benefit be careful how low you decide.
Not all the time it becomes opposite to what we have planned. It was just because we can't predict the market perfectly so we can say that it never runs according to our plan. I think it was acceptable since the market is so volatile, yes, it can really be frustrating when we wanted to sell however, it was also the time it dumps.

Traders can be patient all the time, it was the only thing that could help otherwise, they will surely just fail. That is why we have to know how to control our emotions as it was hard to have a good profit during the bear season.
