It all depends on your time frame. The recent uptrend proved to me that I was uberreluctant in picking up more bitcoins during this year. I should have bought in the 200s range but buying back around 330 or so isn't so bad either. Of course, I did sell a lot of Bitcoins for way more than ....800 actually. While you are picking up what you call easy cash, I am just glad I woke up and bought some coins to hold until...probably December 2016, at around this time I expect a new super bubble.

Don't get burned, the next wave up may well... stay up. Trading bitcoin works for so long, until it doesn't.

I sold some of Bitcoin at about 450 USD because I was sure price can not just go up up without correction and price will surely drops and that will be time to re-purchase again while having some profit. It was good decision like always.

But I still hold my small amount of bitcoin for some big targets which may be only possible after halving. I hold my bitcoin for some targets above $2000.

+1 but i wait for 3100 USD ...

New question! Is it time to buy again? the price fell below 320$ again, good chance to buy or could it fall more?

it depends. are we talking long term or short term? anywhere below $350 *should be* good enough if you're planning on holding for a year or more. I don't know about short term.

edit: you forgot to update the topic title btw.

No,I didn't sell not even a single bitcoin. My plan is for long term and I don't enter in my holdings. This is all is warm up period and real speculation will start soon when price will hit even 1500 $.I see it as correction and new floor and I am not worries about short terms price.

Thats the plan. I have bought bitcoin since it was 100 BTC for 50 USD. I have my stash. Since the market has semi-stabalized (bullshit) i buy whenever it is 250 USD or under and sell percentages at over 300 USD. I sold only about 4 BTC when it hit 400 USD. Seemed to good to be true (it was). I speculate it will hover around 300 - 350 USD until end of the year.

I sold just some cents above 400 $ as I was in need which do whenever I need of fiat money.I am holding most of my funds in cold storage but this was routine action to sell above and after that even at 325$ some.

Yes i sold 50% of my saving at average price $448 and still holding rest amount actually my average buy price is around $229 so this time i got huge profit with this current rise.

You got the best price in both buying and selling. Congratulations.

yes i did sell all rest of my bitcoin during bitcoin price above $400 and earn small profit from that

If you sold your coins above $400, then right now is a great moment to buy back your coins to increase the amount of coins you have. At what price did you buy the coins you sold above $400?

You should probably buy back now.
You wouldn't want to be caught flat footed if another bull run starts.  Smiley

I sold about 10% of the bitocoins I sold above 400$, I'll probably reconvert to bitcoin if the price gets closer to 330$. How did your trading seem this period? Do you think the price will keep moving downwards or is the bullish mood still in place?

I wish I could sell that, but I didn't. In fact I bought more coins when it hits 400 and 450$. I suck at this trading thing. Sad

I am bad at trading Angry I just watched the bitcoin price rising up to to $490+ and did nothing with my 1 BTC , now its falling and I'm thinking of panic selling as I am afraid for the price to go lower..

Nope I haven't sold during the last run or any before that. When you're in for the long haul this interim ups and downs don't have any influence. If the price goes up it's great to see.If price goes down I sit it out.
