Trader holds stocks till the short term high performance, whereas, investing is an approach that works on buy and hold principle. Investors invest their money for some years, decades or for even longer period. But although they have differences, they aim is to attempt profit in the financial markets. investment is defined as the activity of imparting capital, lack of investment is you can't control or determine the profit target that want obtained in the period. While trading, you can get a profit target you want in a certain period.

Trading is somehow just the same as investing, you can invest a huge amount of bitcoins and start trading in the market but if you are afraid of trading then you can just hold your coins and wait for it to grow before selling.
