Well, you know what they say... When one door closes, another opens. I also read that Digibyte recently listed on Bidesk exchange as well. So, its not all glum news with the project.

They themselves are to blame, is it not silly to put in such a light a coin that belongs to the owner of the exchange, or rather his company. It's all just like in a proverb, don’t spit in the well, you need to get drunk yourself, so the guys just crossed the road for the wrong people, all the coins that are on poloniex are already half dead altcoins, I think that all owners of these projects should be quiet and calm , because if they start talking badly about trx then their coin will be dead.

Well they have their own reasons but this isn't going to help any of them, traders knew poloneix isn't as good as they were since the new exchanges like binance come out. This will not help polo gain users if Sun act this way to his critics.

Bad of good publicity still is publicity doesn't work in crypto since reputation is at stake here. The internet is a small world for someone who is followed by thousands.

I just cant believe they delisted DGB just because of their relationship with TRON. Also I am not aware of the news earlier. So needs to dig into that to understand the reason for delisting further.

I'm not worried about DGB-it is on many exchanges and it will be fine, I'm worried about Poloniex. It seems to me that someone is slowly and persistently killing this exchange. Not hard to guess.

I find it ridiculous that they delisted DGB over a twitter rant like everyone is entitled to there opinion..  But look at who owns polo now and it all makes sense,

I haven't traded there in years and don't plan on doing so again anytime soon its a rubbish exchange

So what? Politics is politics. Roger Ver blacklisted bitcoin, then brought it back. So did Bobby Lee, now he regrets Segwit2x. CW says he is satoshi but can't even pay up his settlement because obviously he can't control the bitcoins belonging to satoshi.

All of these things are political and mean nothing to most of us who remember crypto is a decentralized thing.

So you mean poloniex deletes Digibyte just because of accusations / criticism if it's true that it's a shame like a child who doesn't like anything they hate.
but maybe there is another purpose to the removal, I think Poloniex did it for a reason.

Things like this will make the crypto world more mature in the future.
If I look at it from the source, the words of Tate are so bad that poloniex looks for their mistakes and delisted them.
Maybe Tate's words have a point, but by delivering them in a tweet and being read by the public, I don't think it's a good method. This is like spit out the mistakes of others without discussing personally first. So that is the risk of DGB to be registered.
Well, every action have a consequence but straight up delisting a coin because of some hurtful words isn't a wise decision either not that I'm really fond of this digibyte anyway but still feels kinda odd to see politic in crypto market but who am I to judge poloniex is owned by those people and any side effect of delisting Digi is their responsible although I don't think it has significant effect to the exchange anyway. But, I see that Digibyte have rather higher trading volume in other exchange so this is probably will not affect that much.

This is a big blow to Digibyte community, not a good move from the CEO but all the same this is not too much to start delisting the coin off exchanges, i smell crypto politics here, things shouldn't be like this in crypto space its really disgusting

DigiByte have been in polo for how long now then suddenly the polo guys realize Digi did not meet the criteria to be listed in that exchange! What an irony, between polo use to be an exchange that matters, not anymore, taking decision base on personal issues don't  display integrity,
Who knows this may turn out to be "good riddance to bad rubbish" i hope digi won't  be too affected by all this drama.

I don't know if this is a funny story or a sad story. One of the DGB members criticized Poloniex's TRX promotion, but he didn't know that he was getting help from TRX. LOL

Very ironic, we know that DigiByte is one of the top altcoins which is currently ranked 56 in cmc. But suddenly DigiByte delisted from poloniex, even though DigiByte has a daily trading volume of up to 1 million dollars and unfortunately one of the highest trading volumes of DigiByte is in poloniex. I hope that DigiByte can be listed on the new exchange soon.

Who used Poloniex anyway? I bet their number of users are declining I will not be shocked if this exchange will vanish or rebrand from 3 to 5 years but its just my wild prediction because its becoming unpopular nowadays. Delisting DGB is quiet unprofessional but I believe it won't hurt the Digibyte community.

What Fedo said. Wink

Poloniex is a dumpster fire.

They delisted Pascal which was basically their baby their flagship.

The DGB action just underlines the fact that they are both clueless and crooked.

The Circle ownership spent $400millions buying it then destroyed a top tier US based exchange.

I wonder how much cash TRX "paid off" for the exclusive partnership or total ownership.
"Sun has confirmed that he was part of the investor group involved in acquiring Poloniex from Circle."

"#blockchain tech be hijacked by a bunch of crooks like @justinsuntron and @cz_binance. Time has come."
"#TRON runs on a grand total of 27 "Super Representative" nodes mostly controlled by Sun and the Tron Foundation using DPoS. In fact it's so centralized the former Tron CTO Lucien Chen quit because he said the network had become excessively centralized."

DigiByte delisted from Poloniex!!!

When original Poloniex owners starting losing interest in crypto in 2017 slowly Poloniex went down. They were getting more and more customers but did not employ and educate new employees. They got bad owner in Circle. They employed more people but and did some updates, but that was far from enough. Luckily Justin Sun come around with bad of USD and perfect deal for Circle was made. I dont expect much from Poloniex in future. I just hope that they will not lose history of my deposits and withdrawals, so I will be able to rely on them when communicating with tax offices. But since I am sceptical I already exported all datas out. LOL.  Poloniex is an example how an exchange can go from top to bottom in two years.

United States-based digital assets exchange, Poloniex, has delisted the payments-focused cryptocurrency, DigiByte. The cryptocurrency community and those within the industry seem to think that the delisting is a consequence of a string of criticisms made by DigiByte founder, Jared Tate, aimed at TRON founder and CEO Justin Sun.

United States-based digital assets exchange, Poloniex, which allegedly has close ties to the TRON project, has delisted the DigiByte token. This decision was made following several tweets by DigiByte founder Jared Tate criticizing the exchange, TRON founder and CEO Justin Sun, and Binance co-founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao. On Dec 3, Tate called Sun and Zhao ‘crooks’ who were operating on borrowed time.

For just criticizing their exchange, Poloniex has laid down the axe on DigiByte. I'm not a DigiByte #HODLer or supporter, but I'm just disappointed of Poloniex for being unprofessional nitwits!!!

Of course, everybody including DigiByte are entitled to their opinions. Because they just can't take being criticized lightly, a ban has been made. Poloniex was such an immature kind of exchange.

Whoever in Poloniex supported that decision, they're just spoiled little brats who cannot seem to handle this very well. They were not trained to be matured when they were criticized by someone.

How about Poloniex getting banned from CoinMarketCap for life in return, huh?

This is very surprising and not good for the community, they have shown that they are very insensitive to the traders' needs and the whole industry, the people on Digibyte I'm sure paid a big sum to get in if so then they better refund Digibyte, now there is an ax to fall on every coin there.

That is massively discouraging news for huge dgb community and fans, i was in digibyte's telegram channel till an year ago and it was really active and dgb do have a really supporting community and most of them were not only hodlers but true believers in the project, with this news i think there will be some panic in the community and it can take some time to settle.
This should be a warning for holders of digiByte to immediately carry out the best strategy to protect their assets. This makes it even more uncomfortable when the market conditions are not conducive. We as small players can only see the game of the big people above, whether this becomes a kind of political game or not, I also don't really understand the twit war which is said to cause this delist, I'm not too interested. It's just that I sympathize.

That's a centralized exchange for ya!. They can literally do what they can and get over with it. But, are they still relevant these days though? They are already beaten by another more popular exchange and doing this will further sink their reputation although I'm not a fan of DigiByte but I do agree that this kind of behaviour is just stupid because they are against criticism which actually can be used to motivate them to improve.
