A general comment about coins that get pumped and dumped (and I'm not referring to DGB). I'm not a big fan of pumps and dumps. Yes, there are some good short term profits for the players but a lot of the pumpers get burned will never support that particular coin again. Potential investors (ie, big companies) might even be put off by this scenario. In the long term, everyone loses.
I'm sure that many devs also get frustrated when the coin that they are working hard on gets pumped and dumped.It almost negates what they are trying so hard to achieve. Slow and steady does it!

Wow, i didn't think it would be this consistent with the pumps and dumps. Almost too predictable. Anything less than citibank changing there name to digibite and naming dgb the new bitcoin is going to be real bad come oct2. I'll still buy and dump before the 2nd though.
Btc does not allow the pump. Dgb has lost too much value.
There's no good news either. What is the team doing? What happened to Minecraft?

It looks like the 2017 Conference took place in Macau, China. 2018 conference still six months away. Hopefully they have a couple of backup venues in mind .... who knows what can happen between now and then.

^^^ that above convention should be some good publicity for DGb. Even if it's not aimed specifically at mining or crypto currencies it will help to get the word out there to some that may not have considered it otherwise.

Another plus for DGB is the low transaction fee (unlike BTC). Hopefully they will stay low and continue to allow DGB to used for everyday purchases. Who/what sets these fees?

I bought at recommendation of one of my friends and I am glad it was right decision though I was having some doubts at first. I also started reading about this and found it really very interesting. I don't care of price whether they go up and down as I can hold till next year easily.

Digibyte's market is one of the busiest for long time as there is always move in either direction. You can use this market for trading to get living out of this if you are seeking short term profit. Don't forget the last all time high price because those times can come back again with some nice news. Always put some percentage apart for long term gaine.
DGB makes btc looks like a turtle when you need FAST transacctions, new features coming along the way, just hodl long term.

The usual fud panic to bring price the lowest they can get. Then they will hype again.
Just remember, it is impossible for a government or whatever legal authorities to control or ban cryptocurrencies.
It is possible for governments to ban cc<->fiat conversion. It is possible to block exchanges, pools. It is possible to block TOR, vpn etc.Just remember, it is impossible for a government or whatever legal authorities to control or ban cryptocurrencies.
Of course not to ban completely, but at least to make it very difficult use.
Actually as far as they will understand that cc leads to collapse of all fiat financial and fiscal systems they will definetly try to do smth like this.
I think, at least in the US, if it goes to the Supreme Court, cryptos will win because the government has declared crypto a property, not a currency/money. I don't think the Supreme Court would say you can't buy and sell property that is legal to own.
