Why the maintenance on cryptopia? Was there a global issue or only something wrong on their end?
Sorry if I missed it in the discussion, on mobile & hard to read through at the moment.
BTW, I have an original stakestick - can I just download the app from Google play and load it up with CUBE? Would syncing take forever now that the chain has aged a bit? Any tips on catching up would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Android isn't on 2.2 yet, but will be soon if there are no other issues

Don't know what to tell you, only you have control of your wallet.dat
If you sent coins around, it's possible they are in a change address in another copy of wallet.dat if you just imported private keys
